Thanks to all of you here. Whenever I get a call on my cell that I dont know who it is & I suspect its some ****** or telemarketer. I have the habit now of saving the unwanted callers number under a type of alphanumeric system on my phone so when that number calls a***n its marked on my cell phone screen S****ing with a U or Unk etc. So I know not to answer it.I think in the future the telemarketers will double their income by selling the phone numbers they use to people who dont want to answer it as well as those they want to answer it. Since the number of people not wanting to answer it will probably always be less. This makes good bussiness sense. However,In thanks for you all telling me your complaint about the above unwanted call. I will now give you all free the list I keep of unwanted calls so you can put it on your cell phones and know not to answer them when you see the U1 or U59 etc: 213 515-5700 U 1 818 392-0535 U 3

Unknown number called home on Dec 22, 2008 @ 4:19PM. Not sure if people know this but those people like myself that signed up on the do not call list in Ca***a are getting their number sold to real and fake telemarketers. All the person has to do is go to the do not call site claim that their a telemarketer and they can get a list for $40. The do not call list people say that they have to provide the list to telemarketers so they know who they're not supposed to call. Another way they can get around the Ca***ian law is to get the list and get someone outside of Ca***ian jurisdiction to call or they can get the list from outside Ca***a and our law is worthless. What happened to 'Due Diligence' on the part of the people that are supposed to be facilitating the do not call list?

This is a system that tells me that my car's warranty is about to expire. Which is intresting, since it does not have one. But you can press 2, even though it says it will remove you, that is only good for that week. About 2 weeks later you get another one, and another one. But when you talk to someone, they will just **** up on you when you tell them not to call. Too bad I can not put my private business number on the Indaian do not call list.

This is a recorded message that tells you your car warranty is about to expire...press 1 to speak with a representative, press 2 to be taken off the list. I pressed 1 to find out why they were calling me (on my work cel phone that has no connection to a car) and when I mentioned that fact they ***g up on me. I'm probably more likely to be taken off of the list now though than if I had pressed 2. Sounds like nothing but bad news to me!

I keep receiving a call from this number and from many others to my cell phone, home phone and business phone, telling me my auto insurance policy on my vehicle is about to expire (I don't own a vehicle), and to press one to get an extended warranty. I've hit one several times to talk to someone to have them remove my numbers from the list, but it never even goes through to anyone, and automatically disconnects. I've got friends experiencing the same phone call. This is a scam, so everyone beware!!

Telemarketing scam company called me claiming that my vehicle warranty was about to be up and that I needed to renew it. I have a 1990 nissan 240sx and bought it used from a private seller. I don't even have a factory warranty on my car. Anyways, the representative that called me asked if i would like to hear more about my warranty and I said "No, please remove me from your caller list and do not call a***n." When I said this the man immediately ***g up on me.
