Area code 814 encompasses a diverse population of just over 2 million residents, according to public data sources. This area features a predominance of White individuals, approximately 95%, with Black, Asian, and other racial minorities making up the remainder. Economic trends in the region show that while household incomes have risen from around $43,000 to nearly $59,000 over a decade, they remain below the national average. Nonetheless, the gap has narrowed as incomes have increased more rapidly in recent years. An older demographic prevails here, with a median age close to 45 years.
In the 814 area code, FCC complaint metrics reflect dynamic communication patterns over time. From 2014 to 2024, wireless/mobile complaint rates initially climbed, peaking around 2018, but have since decreased significantly. Wired and VOIP complaints followed different trends, with VOIP remaining consistently low. Complaints about prerecorded and live voice calls surged until 2017 then decreased, mirroring a broader decline in abandoned call complaints since 2020. Remarkably, text message complaints remained comparatively lower. Predominant issues included unwanted calls and telemarketing, revealing shifting consumer concerns in recent years.

I have been receiving calls from this number for the last several days but they do not leave a message on my answering ma****e at my place. However, when I called it and it said to state my name to be to be transferred, it then did whatever in 'maybe' putting me through but no one available, so I ***g up... I immediately got a call back and was told 'in a simulated voice which did sound somewhat like the celebrity I've been a Fan of'; it claimed it was Ashley Judd but I knew it to be 'computer generated'. This is apparently someone Scamming me as there has been other contact from this person or people texting me on Facebook messenger, ****out with Google, sending pictures of her holding a cardboard with my name on it (photo-shopped?) and even a 1 or 2 second video with (a***n) a short audio on it addressing me by the name I use on ****out but (a***n) with that computer simulated voice. Whomever this is has already Scammed me with some Bank Accounts of more than one Bank I have used in the past after emailing me a 'so-called' E-Check I printed and, at that time in the last several days; I deposited one at Wells Fargo and another at Chase for a total of several thousand dollars which later turned out to be Frauds. Unlike in the beginning, I no longer believe whomever is behind this to be, Ashley Judd, or anyone connected with Her. Legally, I don't yet know for sure but that is my Speculation. What remains, however, is that this Scammer is still trying to Scam me.
