814-234-7699. I think it's B of A after a bunch of research I've done. I have debt with them but pay it montly. I have a check account with them where I used to pay directly to my card with debt but after they repeatedly attempted to take unauthorized payments straight from my account when there wasn't enough money to pay it (ie the day before I get paid) I've stopped using the account. Even after I deleted all direct links from my card to my checking account (there was literally $3 in the account, I opened one with a better bank) they have still attempted to take payments, then cancelled them but I still get charged the $35 insufficient fee charge. I haven't touched the account in two weeks, just checked it and it's so****ing like $80 in the hole thanks to B of A and there unfair and illegal practices. No wonder the banking industry is in the state it is, they are complete and utter criminals. After I stopped the direct payments from that account (mind you I still make on time direct payments from a non B of A checking account) they have begun calling repeatedly from 3 or 4 different numbers. They don't leave voicemails and they call at all hours. I refuse to answer. I'm making the payments, they have nothing a***nst me.

I have automatic payments on a closed account that BofA set up for me last year. I have never missed a payment. So I s**** getting these collection notices and I called into Bank of America. They admitted that the collection arm of their company has no way to look in the system and realize that my may payment is being taken out today, the 29th. They say it was due the 21st. So less than a week later, I am getting calls to both my work number and personal number telling me I am overdue. In the first place, Bank of America set these payments up. Secondly, they should be able to check their system and see that my May payment is already being processed and will clear today. It's ridiculous that they would not know this, that they would schedule payments for me past the due date without telling me that little tidbit, and that they would s**** calling out on a missed payment less than a week after the due date.

I was called out of town on a family emergency and forgot to pay my credit card. When I returned, I had received a notice of missed payment and of course a $39 late fee. S****ed calling 1 week after payment was "late" and have called 17 times in the past 3 days. Payment on bill is not due for 2 more weeks! I have had this card for 20 years and never missed a payment, and have a 750 credit score If this is how they treat good customers, all I have to say to them is F U Bank of AM! After my next payment (april 10th) I'm closing my account! Stick that up your mother's a** sideways you fu**ing a**holes!!

I have filed written and verbal reports to B of A due to my filing a BK. According to the Fair Debt collection Practices Act Item 805 section a2 "if a debt collector knows the consumer is represented by an attorney with respect to such debt and has knowleddge of, or an readily ascertain such attorney's name and address, unless the attorney fails to respond within a reasonable periof of time to a communication from the debt collector....A DEBT COLLECTOR MAY NOT COMMUNICATE WITH A CONSUMER.....I have filed 3 formal complaints a***nst B of A over this and they keep calling. They are the WORST offenders of all.

This *IS* a SCAM. I got a call from 814-234-7699 stating that I had "underpaid" on my BofA M/C by a mere $9, and if I would just give them my Check'g Acct#, I would avoid the $39 penalty. I told him that I never give out personal info to people who call me. He was inistent, but I refused. Later I checked my records and found that my BofA VISA did not end in the same numbers he gave me, nor was it late or underpaid at all. **NEVER** give your SSN or any Acct# to someone who calls YOU! This is supposedly bank of america. if you answer they will **** up on you. if you don't answer they will not leave a message. they call at all hours of the day n night 7 days a week and will not leave me alone. i do not have any deliquent accounts and all my accounts are autopay so who knows what they are up to. i am begining to believe thier job is to drive everyone crazy. calling BoA directly get the mto "note" my account b/c they have no idea why they are calling from the other department but it deosn't work, hopefully soon they'll leave me alone.

This is actually Bank of Americas credit department, I recieved a call from this number this morning, I called back and asked who they were and they said BofA so I ***g up and called the number on the back of my Credit Card. To my surprise my online bill pay neglected to automatically pay my bill last month so my account was past due. This is Bank of America, though I would never give them any information. I just called them back and they said they have a lot of wrong or old numbers (especially cell numbers when they are recycled all of the time) and if you just tell them you are not the person they are trying to reach-they will note the account and stop calling you.
