Unauthorized individuals are making phone calls regarding Medicare enrollment claiming to represent a healthcare benefits or Medicare benefits survey or other vague representation. A legitimate resource does not make outbound sales calls for insurance or other coverage, however Artificial. Intelligence (AI) algorithms will try to trick you. Ask the voice some unrelated question, as it cannot yet dynamically switch up to answer your question. If a live person jumps in and trys to elicit an answer tell them to not call back. Responsible callers will never ask for your full Social Security Number, credit card details, or banking information over the phone. There is growing frustration with people devising AI methods to market and survey with speed, virus a person . If you receive a suspicious call claiming to be from a company with no legitimate contact phone number that works, do not share your personal information. Instead, file a complaint at fcc.gov/complaints.
Answered the call but no one said anything. And the name that's attached to this number, is showing as a deceased person. So unless someone is calling me from beyond the grave....it's likely a scam. Lol
Scammer called from another number I didn’t answer send another code from another state. These jerks don’t give up. I’m not answering and they just keep going from exchange to exchange scammers be gone.
It appears this number is compromised and is being used as in a “spoofing” manner. It is listed a VOIP with a human name associated to it, but when sent to voicemail, no message left. When called back from any number, including with the call ID disabled, it is answered by an automated message that says “if you wish to be added to our do not call list, please press one.” There are no other options. Pressing any button other than 1 ends the call. Pressing 1 prompts a message that tells you you have been added to the “do not call list.” The search here says the caller/number is in Bradenton. When called from a different VOIP, the location provided by my VOIP is Land O Lakes. This is a scam/spam using a spoofed VOIP number.
