The called engaged me in a non-invasive manner to let me know that I had a couple screenings regarding possible chronic physical issues. She offered up 5 letters/numbers saying these were no longer part of my Medicare number which caused me at that moment to doubt the authenticity of the organization. When she askef for my Medicare number is when I realized that I was dealing with a scamming organization, whether the actual telemarketer herself was aware of it or not. I then hung up and called Medicare to report this attempted fraudulent call. Mr Walker took my call.
