I received an email from this number claiming I had made an order to their company (which wasn’t clear) for an item which also wasn’t clear in the amount of $765 that would be charged to my PayPal account. The email gave me 24 hours to call the number if this was an error and gave the look and feel that it came from PayPal. I’ve made no such order - I’d be an idiot to spend over 50% of my gross monthly income on one item especially just after my ***her passed away last month and my mom lost 80% of her income and I’m her only lifeline and she is my landlord and caregiver. I’d be *****ing both of us over especially when I have no idea what a BTC is and why I’d purchase 0.00765 of one for $765. Seriously- it’s a phishing scam so they try to get you to call them and they don’t get tagged as a scam number or for spamming texts. The name of the person sending me the email was Sheri Nelson [email protected].
