When I asked what call was regarding said it was a personal business matter. I ***g up when they asked for my date of birth. Might be collection agency, but I looked it up and there is a company by the same name that is a credit repair company in Florida. The number they called from was a local number in my area. It’s probably a s**** number to get me to answer.

Received a phone call on Saturday morning, 08-29-2026, stating he was from the Fraud Department of our bank and needed to verify some purchases and investigate possible Identity Theft. He listed 2 large purchases, $700 and $1400, which we had not made. In order to continue with an Identity Theft investigation, he would need more info. It became apparent after further conversation that we needed to contact our bank on Monday morning, and would prefer our bank manage this situation.
