Scam will not leave messages

Call several times. No message left. I called but they would not even tell us WHO they were but request personal information that I would NOT provide unless I know who they are.

This is definitely spam. I've recently s****ed getting calls back from this number after it had stopped for a while. Loud j*** music instrumental plays into the voicemail recording but ***ody speaks or even says*****o when my voicemail picks up the call. The music is loud... not like background music placed during normal calls. It's as if the phone is placed next to a speaker and ***ody speaks, says*****o, or leaves a message! They call throughout the day and do not leave any message? I guess they are waiting for someone to pick up and say*****o first before they'll talk. If anyone is getting calls from this number and you get someone on the line to speak back... DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION OF ANY KIND! These people are into some kind of scam. Legitimate companies... like collection agencies don't operate like this. If anything, collection agencies have recordings set to record a call and you'll hear a beep going off in the background if you hold a conversation. First of all, it wouldn't make sense for anyone to discuss their payment or bills over the phone with a stranger unless one already knows to expect collectors to call them for non-payment of a bill. These are people phishing from this phone number. That is why so many different comments are being posted about what happens when they receive calls from this number. Cruises and contest winners are notified in writing... AFTER ONE ENTERS A CONTEST. Contests and cruise winnings aren't randomly given away to the general public... they are entered through a legal promotion and one must register for the contest. Would you win the lottery if you didn't buy a ticket and then have the winning ticket? As far as claiming to others that they are trying to collect a debt... they are phishing for your information a***n. SO DON'T TELL THEM ANYTHING. DON'T ANSWER THEIR CALLS. DON'T BOTHER TO TELL THEM TO STOP CALLING because they won't and have several different numbers to call you by if you try to block them. In fact, the numbers they do call are generated through a device and it automatically calls out to you and others in a sequence. Unfortunately, not much can be done to stop them from phishing and annoying you. The numbers they use to call you are not legitimate numbers or businesses. They can't get tracked down because they just switch to a new number like illegitimate businesses close down and switch to a new name. There is no name to****ociate to these calls, so there is no one to pursue in complaint. Just make a note of the number and don't answer it... eventually they'll s**** calling by another number. I make a habit not to answer calls unless I recognize the number and let the voicemail pick up the rest. Good luck to everyone out there getting annoyed with this like I am... JUST DON'T ANSWER and if you do... BE SMART and don't give away personal information over the phone.

I have been receiving calls at night after 7pm. I don't answer them anymore. The first time I picked up the call all there was, was some odd music. Not like from a collection service. I owe nothing so have nothing to worry about. I don't think it's Dish Network ( to the guy below me ) just because they at least have the common courtesy to leave a message.

The ****s are calling my phone 2 and 3 times a day. If it is Dish Net. I just got a bill in the mail from them for $12.40 for shipping cost of their ****** receiver. All this hassle for a lousy $12???? Really folks. The checks in the frickin' mail!

I receive a couple of calls perday from this number. I have gotten to the point of just not answering. It is still harassing. I have bought nothing from anyone.
