This company called me last night around 6:00 p.m. to inquire about a neighbor. They should NOT be allowed to contact anyone who happens to live on the same street. I am on a NO CALL list and these people and others don't seem to care. They ALL should be fine a large sum when people file a complaint about them.

I used to sit right next to "frank", who was a supervisor overseeing about 6 or 7 of us (at the time we were resear****g and trying to collect utilities debts, but he had a nice lucrative default auto loans account that offered him much more leeway in allowing his debtors to pay him - helps when you used to f*** the owner's daughter). I repeatedly used to listen to this grown man "do his job"...belittling people, ****ing up on them, then calling them right back to ask if they calmed down. I would love to testify in ANY case that is brought a***nst this company for violations of the fair debt collections act, but I'd never have a chance to do anything else. Dane, err, Robert Cross I mean was another major offender. He's really just a punk kid who was on his second OUI and jumping through hoops just to support his ghetto dress code and budding alcoholism. Any harrassing calls from them can be recorded by simply stating to them that the call is for the record. They may be recording you as well.They have lost lawsuit(s) a***nst them in the past.They attempt to get your personal information even though you do not owe a debt. They request a letter of denial listing your social security number and other information. Don't fall for it. File a lawsuit if your attorney advises you do so. YOu can file one yourself without an attorney. All harrassing calls from this company should be reported to local law enforcement in your area. To the Attorney Gerneral in your state and to the Mass. Attorney General, as well as to the Dept. of Justice, and to the phishing Department for T.D. BankNorth or any other company they claim to represent. You may find they do not even really represent those companies. T.D. BankNorth told me that they have their own debt collection department and do not even use****ociated Credit Services. All these reports may be able to be conducted online. Google search for the addresses and online forms and/or email addresses and toll free contact numbers.

Where to s****..?? I too got some calls from this number recently, and I'm retired from LawEnforcement after over 30 years... I don't have any money transactions with this company or anybody they are calling for...When I do get these numbers I go to the Internet and check the number out..?? These calls might be legit but allot of them are computer generated, so the person that enters a number in the computer can put the wrong number in..!!No mater if you do owe someone money you still have rights..Being an American..!!You can contact your local Police Dept. and file a complaint about this number.. Because they are the only option you have to leagaly trace these calls..They will contact your phone service provider and keep a trace on the date, time and how many times these calls come too you..Also these people working for these companies aren't the most capable people around and aren't the highiest paying jobs around..??Let's figure out who " Bill Czar Paide " is...???? "Erica" talked to me also. She is a complete buffoon! She kept trying to use big words, never using them in their proper context. She must have a word of the day calendar on her desk. She told me she had three different job ***les in the same conversation - couldn't keep her story straight. Her name c****ed too! It s****ed as "Erica" and then became "Cindy" half way through the call, then she was "Erica" a***n. I just called her Susan to eliminate the confusion. She just went on babbling ad nauseam. I actually set the phone down at one point, went outside and she was still talking when I came back. I would be surprised if she has a 5th grade education. And I am not trying to be rude as she did not upset me at all. My family had a good laugh talking about the call. I guess it doesn't take much education to become a bill collector. I dont even owe the money but I planned to pay the bill for my daughter. That is, until I spoke to whatever her name is. Carol? Betty? Whomever. Now I have instructed my daughter not to worry about it and ignore their calls. This company is obviously not one to take seriously.

Got a call early in the morning from a rep. who claimed I owed $420 from an unpaid corporate credit card balance from a company that I worked for 7 years ago. He could not state any particulars of the debt other than it was acquired from a bank that bought another bank that was now out of business. When I gave him the names of the corporate principles and the corporate receivers, he said he didn't care, that my name was attached to the card. I suspect this is a scam designed to extort some sort of random, relatively low payment so that my credit doesn't get dinged. A little research turned up the real name of the agent (not the name he gave me), plus, a relatively long history of fraud perpetrated by agents of this company to collect real and imagined debts.

The two people that I talked to were "Jackie Johnson and Erica Cole"; at least that's who they identified themselves as. In addition, I spoke with a Bob Simmons. These people were very RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL and OFFENSIVE. I initially spoke with "Jackie" who made a very offensive comment. I next spoke with "Erica" who engaged in an aggressive yelling match. She identified herself as working in "compliance", but refused to give me an address for me to make a formal complaint. SHe indicated that there was no one in a position higher than her. "Bob" would not give me an address either. I will NEVER answer the phone for these ignorant a** people a***n. I WILL find out how to file a complaint.

i have been getting calls from acs for over a year now on a account that i had with td bank north they are so rude i was advised by the manager that they are not customer service people they are debt collectors and can say anything they want he advised me that its not his problem if i dont pay he doesnt care its not his credit on the line so he doesnt care what i do he doesnt have to be nice thats not his job he is not paid to call and be nice to people he is paid to collect money. my problem with them is that they keep c****ing the amount of money that im supposed to pay they cant keep straight on how much i owe , yes i do take fault on the check that did not clear but im not gonna pay and extra 400.00 for it he respons then dont spend money you dont have and dont steal cuz thats what you did. last year his rep told me not to buy christmas gifts for my kids and to pay off what i owe them maybe if they were not so rude and have smart remarks and could get how much you really owe straight it would be settled and not call 10 times a day one right after the other.

Some guy said his name was Derek with ACF called and said he was trying to get into contact with my neighbor about a business issue. I thought maybe because of the financial cr**** my neighbor was about to loose his pension or somthing. He told me to put a note in his mail box or go give him a message. I found it strange so i called the number and it was a collection agency. I called back and let him know that he was one of the lowest life forms on earth and that i would not do pro bono work for some collections company.

Somme a** from ACS called me to talk to my neighbor and give him a message that (ass's name) from Boston needed to speak to him urgently. I had my own roll with an agency which i settled years ago. I think that collectors can only call a third party and ask location information, address and phone number. They just violated the fair debt collection act. I'm going to tell my neighbor in case he gets sued.

I live on 181st Dr and this debt collector cross referenced my address with a debtor (a neighbor of mine) and called me to take them a message. How dare they bother me to do their job. They did not identify themselves when calling. I called this number to see who it was and complained to Rachel and her supervisor and they informed me that I could have said no. There should be a law a***nst these tactics as they have tools to access others that the normal public has no access too. I want this practice banned.

For almost two years prior to January of thisyear i was a customer of the cell phone company T- Mobile. Theywould state that they needed to collect a debt from a Luis Sanchez.I would explain to them each time that I did not know this person nor did Iever have any relations with a person by this name. They keptcalling anyway for a period of months, and then finally stopped.When I switched my cell phone service to Verizon Wireless in January, I keptthe same number. In February and March I a***n kept getting calls with thesame inquiry, from the same company. I told them if they did not stopcalling me that I would turn them into the BBB. I did not receive calls fora couple of months until last night, Wednesday, June 25, 2008. At that timeI told them the same thing. I told them to stop calling that I didn't knowthis person. When I complained and mentioned the BBB, the man I spoke with(Frank) laughed at me and said if I had a complaint to call my wirelesscompany and tell them not to recycle numbers. He became very abusive and***g up on me more than once. When I accused him of harassment and askedfor his company's name, he told me I had "too much time on my hands," andrefused to answer. He stated that he would file charges of harassmenta***nst me if I called a***n. This is not the way a reputable company wouldconduct business. The man (teller) was rude and extremely abusive. ACI - I got RUDE calls from a mutt saying his name is Thomas Cross. He has far outdated information on an account that I took care of some nine months ago. He is rude, demanding and acts like he has control over the future of my credit report and ability to keep a checking account. ACI = 800-962-9898 is hired by TD Banknorth. He keeps calling and saying I need to take care of the account. There is nothing to take care of. I paid to fix the issue directly with the bank. He calls and says I need to send him proof it was taken care of. I tell him I am NOT doing his job for him, he has incorrect information, HE needs to get correct information. I just received a call from this 800 number. A young woman was rude and refused to tell me where she was calling from. All she told me was she's calling from *****chusetts. "Do you want me to lose my job?!" she shouted to me. I told her I do not accept calls or confirm who I am if the caller refuses to tell me where they are calling from (what company, the topic of the call, etc.). Upon explaining to him that I demand to know the premise of the call, he blurted that it was none of my business, because I was not the collectee (a term he didn't use)! Well, if you knock on my door and I don't want you on my property...Leave, or else ye be guilty of trespassing. But, you can call and harass me and I don't owe you a **** thing? This is b.s.! He called 7 times in a row...I consider this har'ass'ment. I will find out what companies utilize their services and not purchase from them any longer. That is what A**, I mean ACS needs to be informed of...That is how you c****e the rules of the game!!!
