It said it was macy's membership hotline for a macys card and to enter the last 4 digits of my social security number. SCAM ALERT. I googled this number and others said it claimed to be other things even a law firm!

We keep receiving calls asking to speak with my teenager son who does have a Macy's card, but it only as $100 limit and he hardly uses it, It is paid current and up to date. When I ask why they are calling, they avoid the question and say the could only speak to my son. I've repeatedely asked them not to call and they are very rude. Now calling every day. I can't understand why we all have the number and it can't be tracked down and stopped. It's obviously some kind of scam and/or they are trying to get personal information for one reason or another.
