The problem here is the number is listed by the Verizon app and the Verizon automatic system when using 2factor authentication as being their support number. So it could be getting a call with the number s****ed over the original scammer number or actual Verizon support.

Today, (1-25-23) I received a text from the same # that I receive payment notifications from: "Verizon Msg: As a reminder, c****e the device****ociated with mobile number ending in **** or it will be disconnected on 1/28/2023. For more info call us at 800.922.0204." Since it was from the same # as previous messages, I called the number.... The man on the line asked my name and I told him, then he asked my phone number and I asked "don't you have it?". He said that he needed it to send me a text so that I could click on it, and give him access to my account. I immediately said that I will call back, I need to verify if I had actually reached Verizon. Then I ***g up. Obviously A SCAM!!!

I have been dealing with a home network attack as well as crazy stuff going on with my cell phone. It was all linked together. It all began when I received a Verizon LTE range extender from Verizon wireless at no charge and plugged it into my home network router. This number has been s****ing Verizon wireless is tech-support number and I caught them in a huge lie today and have it on audio recording. For the past two months I have been going crazy, stressing out, having people think that I was crazy and a lunatic, questioning myself, and it has really played a number on me there’s more to the story than what I can put on here just know that this is indeed a scam it is not Verizon wireless. If you do you get a number from this do not answer it and do not click on any links even if you think that it was from Verizon. Also you can do a code test on your iPhone by going to your phone app and typing *#21# and then press the call ****on as if you’re going to make a phone call watch the screen and see what it says. If it says interrogation failed all calls being forwarded that means that your phone and all your stuff is being forwarded to another en***y. If it says all calls forwarding disabled than your phone has not been affected. I am calling in to a Verizon store in a little bit and will have a representative from their contact someone to call me I advise everybody do not, Do not take any calls from any of these numbers especially this one because they will ***** everything up in your life for a good 2 to 3 months. I’m taking this one to the federal level and we’ll see what happens just wanted everyone to be aware!

Received a text that my Verizon protection plan went through. Two texts came in with su****ious links and to reach out to the phone number provided if I didn’t make the protection request. Did a google search and found out that Verizon’s numbers are being s****ed. Makes sense since my own number has been s****ed and sent myself a scam text lol.
