Leave me alone!! You call at least twice a day. I DO NOT owe any one anything as I have ALWAYS PAID my bills on time
(800) 900-1380 - September 3rd, 2017 6:17pm
Caller ID shows TOLL FREE. I never answer such calls. ALWAYS scammers. When I checked this number with BeenVerified there were 96 complaint comments. That's a record. Just don't answer. A valid caller will leave a message. This number does not. Most likely a robot. Comments show calls come at all times and on weekends and continuously. These are bottom feeders and need ENFORCED regulation. Unfortunately, they can operate illegally without fear of enforcement of FTC regulations. Comments made by others go back at least 13 years , (This call dated year 2017.) Try getting a phone that has "blocking" feature. I believe Panasonic has one. My 2 general rules are that these days everyone needs CALLER ID phones, and 3, Never answer a call if the Caller ID is anyone unknown to you. If they are legitimate they will leave a message and you can call back if you wish.

Penn Credit "A debt collector, calling regarding a very personal matter....." Just another bottom feeding bill collector that calls every single phone number they can find, that MIGHT be linked to the person to whom they are trying to collect on a debt, from. These losers really need to hire a better class of collectors, or at least learn to screen their collectors a little better for their listening capabilities. They will continue to call a wrong number even after being told repeatedly, that they have reached a wrong number. Ignorant, dumb**** losers, please find a line of work better suited to your demonstrated (limited) capabilities.
(800) 900-1380 - October 14th, 2014 12:58pm
Caller ID says only "Toll Free". I called them back anonymously with my own number blocked and they would not identify their own company name. Not very nice. Thanks for the others who have posted the details of who they really are. Now I know their function, we can play. I only have major $$ past due medical bills for a botched surgery/medical device malfunction, so it must be related to that. I'm in dispute with my own insurance company regarding the extra $6,000.00 that was tagged onto my bill for "upgrades" performed while I was under anesthesia and could not have ever even authorized myself. I am terminal, so if they can get the money out of me once I'm in the ground more power to 'em. In the mean time they can **** me.

This collection agency has called my cell phone several times over the past few months looking for a Cheryl Bottle. I have repeatedly told them that I have had this cell number for almost 10 years, so there is no excuse for them to be calling me looking for someone else, unless this Ms Bottle has given them bogus info. I have asked them several times to take my number out of their system. They're not getting it!

(800) 900-1380 - January 16th, 2009 5:00am
Well, they called a***n, so I decided to call them back. Because I didn't want to leave tracks, I used a pay phone at a gas station nearby. When I called, they asked me for the phone number that recorded the call (I gave it to them). The "debt" was some silly medication that I got in the mail eons ago. I don't believe that I ordered it, but they do have my phone number (an older one to be exact). I told them that I wasn't going to pay anything, and considered the items sent to me a "gift" (which they are if unsolicited). I left it at that, and the person on the other side, appeared dumbfounded. The call ended. So, if you get a call from this number, somehow they have connected you to the number by some means, probably in a form you sent in. Just be aware.

Has called my home phone several times now, irritatingly, it's always at night, says they have an important message for "my first name" but when I press 1, it gives a message saying someone with my first name, but the last name of the person who previously had my number, owes $29.00 which must be paid within 5 days. can't get through to them with the number they provide, so I e-mailed them, telling them to stop calling or I will file a complaint with both their Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission, also copied the e-mail to the BBB.

Sent To Penn Credit Corporation:My name is **x at **x. You have called my home repeatedly with automated messages. Your messages, that often are left on my answering ma****e, claim that you are a collection agency. You do not identify whom you represent, and through your automated ****ods, are cir***venting my opportunity to warn you about the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act. Since you have been harassing me for months, using cir***vention, I am warning you now. You are not to call my home for ANY reason. If you do, I will alert your State Attorney General of your tactics. S/he will receive a link to this website, http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-800-900-1380#pdJBhBsywLgDXogjLKhxjSQ that attests to your tactics as described by multiple victims. I speak for them as well as myself. You have the right to contact unknowledgeable consumers if lawful; however, I am not one of those unknowledgeable consumers. You are on notice, as of the reception of this message, that further telephonic contact will be reported to your SAG. S/he will receive my written complaint, a copy of this notice and a link to the aforementioned website as evidence.Cease and desist or further action will be taken. (800) 900-1380 - December 7th, 2008 5:00am
I just ( few hours ago) got a call that was recorded on my answering ma****e. It was from "Barbara (garbled)" at Penn Credit. I called the number (from another phone number) and got silly busy signals that repeated. As in the call mentioned above (1 Dec 08) the robo-caller wanted to give only me the message (it actually had the right name). The big problem is that I haven't used that phone number for a couple of years. It is at a house that I've been renting out for over 5 years. I keep the phone number for messages. If they call a***n I don't know what to do, as it will a***n go to the answering ma****e. I don't think I've run up any debt using that number (if I did, it would be a VERY old debt).

Penn Credit Corporation, calling my cell phone for Patty Williams. I've had this number for three years. It's a crazy set-up. A recording that gives the option to **** up if you are not the person they are seeking. However, voicemail is not that intelligent yet. Since voice mail did not **** up, I am perceived as the person they are seeking. It took me a week or so to figure out what was going on. It's funny now that I think about it. When I first got the call, it went to voicemail, and I deleted it (only after I ***g up first) because I am not Patty Williams and then proceeded to receive a call everyday from these people. Well I finally listened to the entire message even though I am not Patty Williams so I could put a stop to the calls. The calls are computer generated and always came at a time I was busy doing so****ing. It made me feel like I was snooping into someone else's business when I listened to the entire message because it said that if I listened they****umed I was Patty Williams. ****py way to conduct collections. However, I think it's another way to make you use up your air time to spend additional money with your carrier. I have a tight budget and really can't afford to waste my minutes telling some **** collection agency I am not Patty Williams. I guess Patty Williams just pulled my cell number out of blue and the company extending her credit didn't bother to check the number. ??? It's a set up by the air carrier industry to use your minutes, so you end up paying more. This is my opinion. Am I being too paranoid?

They keep calling me and won't stop! They do have my name correct as far as I can tell but I do not have any bills unpaid, and I do not owe the money they say I do. I spoke to one person who said it was a Verizon landline acct, I have never had Verizon phone of any kind. Also leave a ****** recorded message- 'by continuing to listen you are acknowledging that you are **** person'. Duhhh- voice mail always listens until the time runs out?

(800) 900-1380 - July 8th, 2008 4:00am
I got a call today from this debt company also. I got the automated voice with my first and last name. I pushed 1 and it was some person trying to collect a debt for Rodale Books. And I was thinking when did I do this and it was about a year ago when I signed up for a free book and I never sent it back so they charged me for the book. Thats why they called. That ****s because I was waiting for a phone call from AT&T to help me with my DSL and they called. My dumb a** shouldn't have signed up for it on the internet. Don't sign up for stuff on the internet people or these people will call.

I receive a message from this caller at least twice a week....for the last several months. I have no intention of returning these calls and they are annoying
(800) 900-1380 - June 24th, 2008 4:00am
I used to work for this company, and I****ure you that they are not a scam and do not "buy" old debts. If you are a minor and recieving calls, its because either you signed up for some direct marketing merchandise (BMG Music, Columbia House, Book clubs) and didn't pay for it, or its for a medical bill that the hospital didn't put into parents names. If they are calling a wrong number, just get in touch with them and let them know, it is THE LAW that they remove it. If they seen like they don't speak english, its because most of their employees are from the ghetto and don't speak proper english. If you do have business with them and don't want them to call you, per the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, write them a letter to Cease Communication and mail to: P.O. Box 988, Harrisburg, PA 17108. I know how annoying these calls can be, and I'm ashamed that I ever worked there. As for the people that would call back repeatedly and ask about the weather? I thought that was hilarious and made my day better.

This "private call" called my phone and I didn't answer. There was an automated message that said I should call this number for important personal business. I don't want telemarketers calling my phone.. how do I get them to stop?
(800) 900-1380 - May 20th, 2008 4:56pm
Call shows up on my cell phone as unknown and asks that I urgently call 1-800-900-1380. Cell phone minutes are not free so this is s****ing to get really annoying but I don't have any way to block the number.
(800) 900-1380 - May 19th, 2008 5:44pm

(800) 900-1380 - April 7th, 2008 4:00am
I get a blocked number and they leave a message saying to call 800 900 1380. To call Home Credit Corp. Sounds like they are creditors.... they keep calling and they have my cell phone tied to another person. I told them to stop calling... don't know who they are. People are rude as well.
(800) 900-1380 - March 10th, 2008 4:00am
I recieced this call today at 2:48. I didn't pick It up-- it was from "Blocked". It left a message "IMPORTANT PERSONAL BUISNESS!". Although it is just speculation, I think it is related to (877)-696-2722 [The Official NASCAR Members Club] for two reasons: I had just told NASCAR to take me off their call list, and the amount other people say they have demanded ($87-$88) is what NASCAR wanted for my "membership".

A recording called and said that I had a $29.** dept to pay it. I pressed 3 for a rep and of co****, I couldn't get anyone. I called back and spoke with a rep who said that I owe Publisher's clearinghouse?!?!? What!!! ALL mail from them goes in the trash. I asked for their ph#, and she couldn't give it to me, what a surprise.

These folks are a Collection Agency. They were calling daily even though I told them they had the wrong number. They're calling for someone with the same initials and last name as me.As a corporation, these folks must have a Registered Agent on file in your state to receive legal do***ents (i.e. certified mail, court filings, etc...). A Registered Agent is who you send a Cease & Desist letter demanding that they stop contacting you. To look up your state's Registered Agent for Penn Credit Corporation go to http://www.usa-registeredagent.com/secre****y-of-state-resource.htm.Or . . . I s****ed calling them 3-4 times a day to say Hi and to see how the weather is. I then tell them I wanted to once a***n verify my phone number with them because they are calling the wrong number. After a few days, they put me on their do not call list and stopped calling.
(800) 900-1380 - February 15th, 2008 5:00am
These people are calling the wrong phone number, they are asking for someone who does not live here. They call daily. This is a debt collector. I've had this phone number for 20 years, so I doubt it has anything to do with the previous owner of my number.
(800) 900-1380 - February 10th, 2008 5:00am
They keep calling for my 3 year old. Who are these people?
(800) 900-1380 - January 30th, 2008 5:00am
