I just got off the phone with them and found out that they are trying to collect on a ticket that my husband got over a year ago...in my car. It was a moving violation taken by one of those cameras. We didn't even know he had this outstanding ticket because we never recieved anything in the mail (I know it was my husband because I never drive on the street where the camera is). I told the operator that my husband will pay the city directly next week and she was perfectly OK with that. This company is not a telemarketer so being on the Do Not Call Registry will not save you. They are just trying to collect on a debt that they've been told you owe. And ignoring them won't make the problem disappear. For your own sanity and future driving privelages, I advise you all to talk to them. It'll give you peace of mind.
