I have gotten several phoney "final notice" letters from an en***y with "no return address" about my automobile warranty. You could not contact them except by phone. More recently, "the fraudsters" have become more inventive and believable with a notice pretending they are Honda and with my auto Vin number, showing what the PLATINUM coverage will cover, including Powertrain information. Of course, the Notice always is a Final Notice and Extremely Urgent. I have sent these letters to our Attorney General, along with similar Final Notices on my Home Warranty. January 21, 2024 Arkansas

Letter mailed to my home with highly individualized information that had to have come from the DMV or dealership. There’s no return address, the letter looks very official from Mercedes and the personalized information made it more believable. Thankfully I called the actual Mercedes office and they informed me this is a phishing scam to “sell” a car warranty.

Sent a letter to me in the mail that looks really close to authentic Mercedes letters. This info must be stolen or purchased from the DMV or dealership regarding the vehicle and warranty information. I called Mercedes they do not require you to call and activate your warranty. When you purchase it, it is already activated. This phone number is a scammer that is using close to accurate and very individualized phishing tactics. They almost got me it looked so real.
