These people were harassing me right after the ***** of my baby at 39 weeks. They were fully aware of my situation, but did not care. In fact, they began calling me more often and did not honor my request to be removed from their calling list. I had to take extreme measures to get this to stop. I filed police reports, contacted Highlights and canceled my subscription (and got a refund), even then I had to block the number on my cell carriers Web site. I'd suggest everyone do the same. Also, keep your phone records, bc I'm going to try and organize a class action suit and I'm s****ing a blog about this soon. They're going to learn their lesson the hard way. Break the law, pay the price.

Just talked to them @ this number.It is highlights marketing department.For our calls, (about 2 to 3 times a week for the past month) there was never any message or live person on the line when we picked up the calls.I was told that sometimes their system routes to 2 operators and if they are both busy the call is dropped.Great system, not only does it call at random times, you pick up the phone and there is no one there.My kids love the magazine so we can't stop the subscription, but we are now on their DO NOT CALL LIST.We'll see if it works.

Today, 3/13/09 I answered a***n. Got a live person who says it IS Highlights but that the call had nothing to do with my 3 month old (new) subscription.I didn't ask what, just asked that my name be removed, and she said Ok but I may still get some calls until it is removed.SPIT on Highlights - i bet it was about subscribing to some other one of their pubs etc.Will NOT renew this subscription.
