Nothing seems to stop these theives! FYI, I have no account or any business with Chase and since these calls s****ed I have checked my credit ratings at least twice a week... all fine and no bills overdue, no loans or mortgages to speak of either! I also found out this number is not Chase ... their own fraud dept. has stated there is no connection between the two. On top of the fact that this same type of call (recorded message etc.) has been with different numbers used prior to this one... all claiming to be Cahase and all the same M.O. It's not Chase. I picked up the phone when it rang from this number and for over 12 minutes it kept saying that I should "hold for an important message, we'll be right with you" (not verbatim) Got that message over and over and no one came on. The severe PROBLEM was that I could not disconnect from that call - and not only was I attempting to call my daughter to find out if her doctor's appointment told her she had cancer BUT a TOR***O WARNING was happening near my area and headed towards her! AND I COULD NOT GET THESE CHASE FREAKS' PHONE CALL DISCONNECTED! I AM in a home modification but I am NOT going to sit on the phone wasting my phone battery in normal weather much less when I'm trying to warn someone about a TOR***O. Chase makes way more than enough money to afford a better phone system!

Be careful if you are at an automatic payement plan. They may c****e the rates without telling you.If this is the case - even it results in your overpayment with specific instructions as to what the money is for - their system will automatically put your payment towards prin****l. Their collections department will lie but the billing department will fix the errors. Be insistent to speak to billing. Billing will fix the issue before you have the chance to even open your mouth - but collections will lie and milk you for as much as they can and force a false confession out of you.Examp****ase: We sent you a bill for $3,000. We are receiving calls from this number several times a day, no message is ever left when we are not home and the times we have picked it up no one ever answers. I have called the number back and it states it is Chase Bank and they want the last four digits of my social, then my account number. I press "O" for operator and it does not accept that, then it asks for my full social security number. Now I'm pretty sure any bank is NOT going to do that. I'm pretty sure this is a scam. I am worried because I did enter the last four of my social just to see if it responded in any way.

No one is ever there just a recording I will be connect for an "important call" ... no one EVER comes on the line yet 15 minutes later they will call a***n onlt for the same thing to happen. I nolonger answer the number when it calls. I do have a Chase mortgage but my payments are always current except for when they take my mortgage payments for forced placed flood insurance (which I carry personally). This goes on 7 days a week, it will stop for a week or so then s**** a***n for weeks on end. Somebody needs to do so****ing about this!

I asked why they would continue to call my number if they did not want to talk to me...no response...just same inquiry asking to speak to my husband. Okay, here is the latest. I called CHASE at the 877-CHASEPC number and they deal with on-line banking issues. The gal I worked with was wonderful and the first CHASE representative to hear what I was saying. She investigated it issue as thoroughly as she could. After contacting the Fraud Department she let me know that they could not explain the phone calls but had added our number to a CHASE Do-Not-Call list. A man with very thick foreign accent asked for someone with name similar to mine. I said yes and he said I owed 2 mortgage payments to Chase for a toal of $4,120.30. My mortgage is not with Chase and that is not my payment. He refused to state where the property was located. The calls are every other day at the same time and I'm out sometimes. Funny, how they're not on my caller ID anymore. Called my banker and she thinks it a collection agency for Chase.

A person with a very thick accent claiming to be from Chase's Debt Collection department was calling to "confirm" some information because he said that there had been some problems with the computers at Chase. Got a call from 800-84-9380 at 9:50 one night stating they were from Chase they asked. My husband told them to call back. I know it can't be Chase Collection because I am in their loan modification program and I have spoken with their collection office before and those people speak English and are in the U.S. My husband said the person could not speak English and was from India. Also Chase sends its information in writing. This has got to be a scam.

Yes that's Chase, they denied our Modification because "it was not owner occupied" which is a flat lie!!! But you have now recourse with them they are just constant lies and they play games with not apply partial or full payments and holding them in "suspense accounts" if the payment is either "late" or "early" then requiring "certified funds" the government should use anti trust law to ***ke up this farce of a too big to fail bank.
