received call from woman stating my name and full physical address, who said it was a personal matter. i had to ask several times to get a company name and all she gave me was NRA. looked up online they are not the national rifle****ociation, just a junk debt collector when i called back to request that they send me so****ing proving i owe whatever debt they have on file for me. i told the representative to stop calling and send me written proof of the debt to the address they OBVIOUSLY have on file and she ***g up on me

These people keep calling my cell phone about a debt that was already paid off. They are driving me crazy and can't be reasoned with.

I actually do owe some money to an electric company and National Recovery has purchased this debt from that electric company. They call every day and tel me I have to pay this certain amount. I don't deny that but, I don't know who you are and I'm not doing any kind of payment over the phone. I asked them to send me a letter from them telling me how much I owe on their company letterhead and they keep telling me they already did send a letter and won't send one a***n. Finally, after 3 months of this, I got to speak to a supervisor and she said they would send ONE letter and one only. I did get the letter but, I'm not going to pay the bill for some time just to annoy them. Since I got the letter, I don't answer the phone when they call and they don't ever leave a message.

called me twice in the middle of the night and woke me up before work.

I have received calls from this number and other numbers like it for the last 3 years.  The police and my phone company won't do anything about it.  I've s****ed **** up and calling them back and talking to the adminstrator.  This year I only received a new number and not the old ones.  I had 5 lawers and 3 Debt collection agency's calling me.  The Debt collectors are usally rude and don't give out information it is best to call them back.  Lawers will usally work with you.

They left me a message saying I owed for Double Book Club or so****ing like this. I have not ordered any books in over 5 years and I know I paid that off as I can get ahold of the cancel check. They were leaving messages now they arent doing that they just keep calling.

Someone from 800 814 6580 called.  I told the person that the person requested to speak to was overseas and returns every six months.  I said that if they want to get a message to the person they requested the should do so in writing and mail the message to the address of record. If they call a***n, I will register complaints.

I continually rec'd calls from NRA stating I owe approx $50 for a music subscription. They've reached the wrong person and I'm frustrated with trying to communicate to them, they've reached the wrong person.

Alright so i've been getting these calls for about three months... They NEED to STOP! I finally called them back recently, and got some A**HOLE woman on the phone. I asked her to "Please take me off your calling list" She replied with the classic "We don't have a calling list Ma'am" So i told her "Well then stop calling this number" She then asked me "What is the number your referring too?" I Told her "The one i'm calling from" She said that she didn't know what number that was. Which is total bull cause it's not like my number comes up as unknown they clearly know it. And i wasn't about to give it up, In case in some twisted way it became theirs! She then replied with a B*TCHY "Have a good day Ma'am" but before she could even finish i ***g up. If they are looking for money i don't care they just need to stop calling me! I don't have any credit cards! I'm a minor! Which in my opinion makes it TEN times worse! It's getting a bit stalkerish. ­ P.S She doesn't need to call me Ma'am cause i'm****uming she is older the me... In which case maybe she should get some sort of education, or maybe just a better job. Perhaps one that doesn't involve no s****s what so ever. I could obviously pick up a phone and call the same number 20 times a week. But it would give me no satisfaction.

calls keep coming from this #, most of the time no one is on the other end,if I do catch the caller I get about the same abuse as all the above.They will not take my # off thier automated dialing system.  I now refuseto answer calls that come in from this # and they never leave a message!

Got a call from automated dialing system and then was put on hold.  Finally spoke to a person that identified the calling party as NRA but they would not give me what NRA was or why they were calling.  They called for an individual that does not reside at this location.  They were very rude and when I asked to speak to a suvervisor they ***g up on me.

They've been calling me for the past month, always at 10 am.  My husband finally called back, and they asked for an "Erica," and once he told them no one by that name lived here, they asked my husband for his name, and my husband promptly ***g up with the man refused to identify himself and the company he was calling from.  Already registered a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.

Continually getting calls from this number. The caller is rude, insulting and verbally harrassing. They never disclose the company they are with, they refuse to explain how they got my number and further refuse to take my number out of their system. I do not know the person for which they are asking for and I do not have any outstanding debts other than medical which I know who they are for and at present am handling. How can this be stopped?  Isn't there a law or so****ing? Don't we all have enough issues with the state of affairs today to also have to deal with harrassing phone calls on a daily and continual basis as well? I feel this is a new breed of criminal and further feel like the new face of a victim. I just want it to stop.

Just received a letter from this group.  Not a phone calls (lucky me) but a letter.  It looked somewhat offical...anyway, I called the number (didn't give them mine) and spoke with Chris.  He wasn't rude...but told me how I owed a certain amount and today they are running a 50% off debt deal what would allow me to pay on half to settle this debt. DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFO.

Call from this number just came in. I had to look at the caller id to get the number. An automated voice left a partial message and a 'master#' to reference. I have been getting a ton of messages and calls for another person not at this number. I keep saying they have the wrong number and those finally stopped but this just began this morning.

Basically, this is a Bulk Junk Debt company or BJD.  They look for debts that are very old and inexpensive to buy.  The debts are usually beyond the statute of limitations.  So they hope to get people who are not aware of their rights.  So they try to harrass people in hopes of bullying them into to paying any amount they can get.  Report them as often as you can.  These types of companies are horrible.

I called them and ask to be taken off of whatever list I had been put on. The man on the other end of the line replied with, "Why would you want to be taken off?" (As if the incessant calls at 10am every morning aren't enough.) and I replied with "I'm not interested in whatever your offering." and, this is where his tone became very rude, he said "We're not trying to sell anything." I replied with, "Then why am I receiving calls?" and he said, "We're trying to reach Mr. and Mrs. ******", a family that has never lived in our house because we still frequently get mail for past owners, and I informed him of such. He said he would take me off the list, but considering he never once asked for a phone number, I don't think that will be happening.Very rude and VERY ANNOYING.

They would not identify the reason for the call

I called this company back this morning.  Must have been before they opened, their answering system says their name is Crossgate.  Luckily (or not) I have never spoken with anyone.  They have called everyday for about a month only to **** up on my voicemail.  Today I will be contacting the phone company for harrassment charges.

I'm in the same boat.  Same lame message from "Jennifer" comes in every day.  I actually called to have them cease, they did not.  Next step is Attorney Gen'ls office.

Continues to call asking for a person who does not live here. we have had this same phone no. for 53 years so we know that the person being called for has never had this number. The caller (apparently a collection agency) has been informed that there is no such person here, but that does not deter the continual calls. How do these ****s determine to call what is obviously a wrong number? There should be a way to reverse this type of harassment.
