Received a letter citing this telephone number (800-762-6290). Bottom line: they want me to call them (w***ver "them" is) within five days or my vehicle's warranty may be invalidated. This letter is not on letterhead and no company name appears anywhere on it. It is so ***zen it's almost laughable. I don't know if these criminals have tried to reach me by telephone because I don't answer any calls coming from toll-free numbers that I do not recognize on the caller ID. I simply delete that call from the phone system if no message has been left. Since I haven't fall from any turnip trucks lately, I didn't fall for this obvious scam. This comment to you should add a little more weight to those you've already received. To take it one step further, I'm taking the letter to the United States Postal Service as it is nothing more than attempt to commit fraud on innocent victims.
