I have had dealings with these people before. If I had a debt that i***vertantly went to collections, when I DID have the money to pay, I sent it directly to the original company I received services from, NOT LTD. Let them work in out, because I do not, will not, be spoken to in the manner that their agents do. I respond well to "How can we help work this out" but never, ever, nasty tactics.In this case, due to preditory scammers who made unauthorized deductions from my debit account, my payment did NOT go through to the original company. I will, as in the past, pay them directly.

LTD FInancial is technically NOT a collection agency. What they do is BUY debt from creditors and then bully people to recover.I was paying $100 a month to a previous collection agency. It was an agreement I made with them and they accepted it.Suddenly, the other day, I s****ed getting calls from LTD. When I spoke to them, they told me that they bought the debt and that I now owe the balance to them. I told them fine, and said that I have no problem continuing paying the $100 a month. They told me that the only way I can pay them monthly is if I gave them my bank aco**** number for them to set up post-dated withdrawls. I told them absolutely NO. The rep put on his manager who was very confrontational. They eventually told me they were going to forward the issue to their legal dept. All along I offered to pay the debt via check. I've read about them and how they withdraw more than they're supposed to.I called the Department of Banking in my state and he told me to forward the info to him and that he will call LTD. He also told me NOT to answer any more of their callsWaiting to see what happens

I get about 2-4 phone calls a day from this number, each time it's a different person saying its important that I contact them back that day and they give me that number and their extension line...I never answer because I know it's a telemarketer...they always say "this is reference to a case that was brought to me on your behalf"...I'm getting so sick of these people! they even call on weekends.
