just to let everyone vknow there are rules and regulations that these people have to follow. with that being said know your rights. first and foremost they should not be calling you outside of the hours of 8am and 9pm. next they cannot make threats of of garnishment nor law suit unless that is their intention. they also should not be calling you repediatly with or cunduct business using other harrassing tacticts. also whenever they call you they are required to identify themselves and their company, verify that they are speaking with the person that owes the debt, and to give you the mini miranda (this is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose). you have the right to ask for verification of any debt that they state that you owe.

Joanna called asking for Greg ****** or so****ing like that. I have had this number only a few months, and have been plagued with calls for him ever since. I usually don't answer until I look at the caller ID, but that is a nuisance as well as the calls several times a day. I have repeatedly asked them not to call explaining as above. Each person I talk to tells me they are sorry and will tell their superiors the information. Until tonight that is. Tonight, I told them I did not know this person, and have repeatedly asked them to not call as I am on a do not call list. W***ver I spoke with very hatefully reported, we don't have anything to do with a do not call list. Well, since I do not have an account with them, and cannot help them, they do not have the right to call.
