Today I got a call from a number that was local to my cellphone. The caller claimed to be a locator service only, and that I should call 800-***-7535 and mention the reference number that she then gave me. She refused to answer any further questions from me, claiming to only being a third party. So I searched the number on google and found that other callers had recently encountered this same scheme, and when they called and gave the reference number they were told they owed non existent debts to cell phone cos. or hospitals and that there was a judgement a***nst them (also not true). These people are apparently crooks. I will not be calling the 800 number and neither should any other****ential victim.

I called this number and the message I heard sounded like it was from a company that sells medical alert devices to senior citizens. So I'm not sure at this late date that Det. Stoner still owns this number.
