We do not have any merchant credit cards. BY LAW, a collection company HAS to provide their name, the business they are working for and what the call is in regards (a personal business matter is NOT allowed). BY LAW, they are not to represent law enforcement agencies., BY LAW, they are not allowed to call before 8 am or after 6 pm. BY LAW (new June 2015), if you do not have your name included in your voice mail greeting, they are NOT allowed to call for 30 days. BY LAW, if you ask them to stop calling you and remove from their calling list, they are to do so immediately, otherwise it's grounds for a law suit and if you DO owe a bill that bill is wiped clean (they have to eat it). There ARE laws to protect the consumer a***nst nuisance calls such as these... We get between 5-15 calls a day from 800-695-6950 and neither of us have ANY merchant credit cards. They never leave a message when we let the ma****e answer the call. When we DO actually answer the call, they provide NO information and tell us they are recording the phone call. However, they rarely provide a name and they NEVER provide the company name.

They keep calling my work number. It has ensued for the past 2 weeks! I can hear talking in the background followed by giggling, then they **** up. I haven't heard any automated s***ch as of yet. So, I called back. I told the lady that answered that I had an oil c****e special going on and would she like to make an appointment. She said, "Uh.... I'm sorry but you've called a business." I replied, "Oh really? Well so are you with your repeated calls to my shop. Now you know how it feels!" She ***g up.
(800) 695-6950
I have been getting these calls for about four days now, and its always between 8 and 9 am. I am a high school student, and do not own any credit cards. or a job, for that matter. I'm on spring break, and it wakes me up! I called the number back, and the first thing they asked for was the last four digits of my ssn. uh..no. Then my account number, that I don't even have! After listening to a ton of account related options, I ***g up.

Not sure what company this is but getting numerous calls every day. Whether I pick up or let the ma****e get it, no one talks.I thought it was interesting today. Got a call from this number. I picked up and said, "Hello." There was dead air for a few seconds, then a young man's voice, obviously talking to someone he was working with instead of me. All he said with a smile in his voice was, "Good torture though."Enough said.
(800) 695-6950
calls 7 times a day
(800) 695-6950
Definitely HSBC Best Buy, they're the only credit card I'm late on. Even when I answer, I get someone who says "Hello,*****o" and then ****s up. I also got a call from an "unavailable" number that turned out to be HSBC Best Buy and when I told the customer service rep that I couldn't pay my bill because my husband lost his job, she ***g up on me. Worst service ever. I am looking into reporting this company every way possible. The customer is definitely NOT their priority.

(800) 695-6950
I suggest you look up the website of the Annualcredit.com they list what you can do to telemarkerters that continue to bother you. You can file harrassment charges on them.
(800) 695-6950
This number 800-695-6950 keeps calling my cell phone about 10 times a day. I have not answered because I only use my cell for emergency's and it's a prepaid minutes phone. I'm not using my minutes to tell them to go away. I don't owe anyone money so I have no idea why they are calling unless they have the wrong number. Ugh. I've been turning my phone off it's so annoying!
(800) 695-6950
This number 800-695-6950 calls my home at least 15 times a day up to 9pm at night. I ususally don't answer but when I do its complete silence they do not speak to me, then they **** up. This is getting old.
(800) 695-6950
They also process monthly credit card bills for other companies such as Bank of America and another department store credit card that I have had since 1979. They closed that account with the excuse that I skipped a payment. Ii sent them about 6 emails when they locked me out of the online stuff without replying to any of my 6+ emails. I don't do any "banking online". I just look up what my payment is but now I couldn't do that. A few days later, I decided to try to see if I could get into my online info to print my statements and print all the details of deposits and checks in order to prepare my tax return. Surprise, they put my a/c # back up and I was able to login--to an empty I complained about them to Bank of America and they made them set me back up but I still can't get in. B of A said that I had to have NO late pays for 6 months and then they would restore me. Well, that hasn't happened as HSBC c****ed the due date that I had previously been able to freely slelec. So I was late every month because I thought my payment was due on the 27th of the month and I'd pay it befoore then. They c****ed it twice--once to the 14th of the month and also to the 2nd of the month. I hope enough people with credit cards at Bank of America and all the other cards they process for other people get a lawyer and do a class action lawsuit. They sent me a 2 page do***ent about c****es in our accounts as of Feb. 2010. Over 2 1/4 of thees 4 pages printed on 8 1/2 x 14 paper were dedicated to tell you what consequences you could expect if you ever tried to "sue' them. They would basically force you to arbitration where Ii am sure they have paid off lawyers and judges so that you get nothing out of the deal. Tc****es in our accounts as of Feb. 2010. If debt collectors are told not to call your work place, they by LAW are not allowed to after the first time being told. If they insist on calling you at your work place you need to get the company name call a lawyer and sue them. Then you will have all the money to pay off the bills and its all on them! If you can afford it or find a lawyer who will collect after the case is won, this is a great way to ***** them back! :)p.s. look up your state laws too, they also are not allowed to call u back after confirming they talk to u in the same day, and u can sue for harassment for them even using a harassing tone. good luck
(800) 695-6950
they call here and never leave a msg. so once I answered and it was a recording saying they have an important call for me BUT all of of their customer service reps are busy. please hold for the next available rep. If they're too busy to call me themselves. I'm too busy to hold
(800) 695-6950
This is ridiculous. I come home from a long day at work and have this number on my caller ID. No message...just 12 missed calls. This is NOT the only number HSBC uses either. I have told me not to call me at work but that continues. They are now calling on my cell phone. I refuse to talk to these callers. When I get my bailout they will get paid; until then, they get what I can pay. I do have other other obligations and since these companies have taken it upon themselves to take their bailout and go on vacations etc., and ***** the American public they can just wait. Hopefully Obama and his crew wake up and help the citizens out soon.
(800) 695-6950
If you really want to **** them off when they answer tell them you are recording the call for do***entation purposes. You will hear them pause as they panic. Next let them know you have been advised to request a temporary cease and desist usually this is for anywhere between 10-30 days. Next ask them to give you the fax number and company address to send a formal cease and desist letter. Then follow up and send them a certified letter using the format below. If they refuse to either one of these request **** up kindly but before you do thank them and inform them that this recording will be passed on.Even if you owe you can still send this but the only thing I would add is do not say all communication or just communication instead say phone communication because if they can not mail you junk then they will proceed with a lawsuit of their own. If they ask who has advised you remind them a***n this call is being recorded for this precise person and at the time am not at liberty to discuss this but all this will be mentioned in the letter.Seriously though most times they will try and sneak in I can continue if this call is not being recorded. Just repeat to them this call is being recorded. I have had them actually apologize to me for calling and any future calls that may occur. Or just take the easier route and say there should be a cease and desist request in my profile and per FDCPA they can not call or face a fine. I would send it though because after they receive it it can be up to a $1000 fine for every infraction. As for ****ing the police whistle I hope its only in the voicemail prefer it not at all but its a job its not even them who pick and choose who they call the computer dials for them but now you can have your number removed from the computer. Oh and do not close the door key words are by phone otherwise if they have no option they may sue you because they have no other option given. Do not use ALL communication as many sample template letters will tell you to doTo Whom It May Concern: I have been contacted by your company about a debt you allege I owe. I am instructing you not to contact me by phone in connection with this debt but instead by mail. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, a federal law, you may not contact me further by phone once I have notified you not to do so. Sincerely, (Name) (Account No.)

We have had some issues with some late payments but I'm getting 8-10 calls a day from Unknown, Witheld and now this 800 number. I'm about ready to ditch my home phone and my cell phone. GAH!

This is Best Buy Credit, aka HSBC Retail. They call between 8am and 10pm Pacific, Monday through Sa****ay to try to get a response from you. Sometimes it's an automated system, sometimes it's a person.
(800) 695-6950
HSBC should be afraid. There are too many people like myself that get calls from them at all hours seven days a week. I've asked told and demanded they never call my buisness line. But they do it. I told them m-f from 0800-500 calls. That's buisness hours. But they still call I don't care if I am late behind or whatever. I know that n don't need these *****s telling me every day. Like I said HSBC should fear the people they are *****ing. All it takes is a class action suit and they will be owned by all of us.
(800) 695-6950
Since I have been on here I have had 4 calls, and I have typed every number in here, and they are all spammers.I work nights ,and its not quite 9 am.I like doing reverse syke to them.ask them their home number, and ask them questions.
(800) 695-6950
HSBC do not only do credit cards. They also do motorcycle loans. I purchased a 2008 Suzuki SV650SF from my local Suzuki dealership. The loan was done through HSBC. It is not a card, but a regular motorcycle loan, which means it's an installment plan, not revolving credit. Each month I make sure I send my bike payment to HSBC well before the due date. The installment plan comes with a 10 day grace period, which should ensure that even if the mail is running late, HSBC should receive my check before my payment is actually "late," which it's never been. Each month I receive multiple calls from HSBC, s****ing on the actual due date for the installment. That is to say the "due date" before the 10 day grace period s****s.Each month I have to go through the same explanation with a number of extremely rude HSBC reps, and usually wind up speaking with a supervisor. The reps ALWAYS tell me that my loan is revolving credit, which it is not, and very arrogantly inform me that there is no grace period at all. I did manage to get one of their supervisors, a woman who identified herself to me as "Somalia," no last name given. I had her spell her name for me, and she told me that it is spelled like the country. In addition to receiving multiple calls from these people every single month, even though my check must be sitting on someone's desk while they are harassing me, I have also had them break right into a business call I was on, cutting my party off and putting him on hold. I'm****uming they have equipment that can override call waiting to be able to do this. The first time this happened, I had my call waiting canceled by my phone company, and it never happened a***n.They also seem to be able to override being transferred to voice mail. My voice mail is set up to kick in after 5 rings. When HSBC call, the phone will ring 10-15 times before they **** up. Yes, I let it ring because I'm tired of dealing with these people. They will get their check every month, but I now refuse to speak to them.

(800) 695-6950
Caller does not leave any messages. Called the number back and it is a Collection Call.
(800) 695-6950
They don't call during the week, only on the weekends. I thought this was a***nst the law. Annoying calls are supposed to be made M-F. Sunday morning is their favorite time to call. I've answered and told person if they wanted to talk to us call M-F, but they still continue to call on weekends. Every other time its a recording or no-one. Can't tis be stopped? What happened to consumer rights?????
(800) 695-6950
Knock it off! I get multiple calls every weekend from these same two numbers: 800-695-6950 and 800-959-1373. They have become invasive and are certainly not anything I am EVER going to respond to. So HSBC Banking-Retail Services will be notified about these calls directly with a specific request to be removed from their existing calling lists and to reiterate that none of my personal information is to be used for their promotional purposes. Further, they are not authorized to sell, rent, loan, Bankor give any of my personal information to any other business . . . whether directly or indirectly related to HSBC.This is abusive!
(800) 695-6950
I have had up to 10 calls a day for the last couple weeks. They won't leave a name or number so my husband can call them back. This last guys was really rude and said he will call as many time as he needs to and I can't do anything about it. I said if he left his name and number they would get a call back...he asked why they don't get a call back if they call 10 times a day....YOU WON"T LEAVE A MESSAGE!!!!!
(800) 695-6950
This is yet another HSBC Card Services (HSBC International Bank) number that makes robo calls. No messages, always has a recording to try to get an answerer to stay on the line for a call center person to pick you up. It is hard to say what they are calling about - this number when redialed answered as HSBC-Retail Customer Services, but I know my daughter (who used our # only as an alternate) had some Credit Card payment issues that she has since resolved. But HSBC keeps calling on various (6 I've seen so far) numbers.File complaints with FTC and BBB.
(800) 695-6950
Likely HSBC, they call asking for my daughter who, like others posting, has a Best (or Worst) Buy card. I've talked to folks at HSBC from other call numbers and demanded that they leave a person's name and number so she can return a call. I've had everything from nice to rude to ****ups. She had gotten behind apparently on a payment and got that straightened out with a payment plan but the calls to my phone keep rolling, only they've c****ed numbers a***n. I recommend that you all file a complaint with the FTC directly for harassment calls. You can do so at 1-877-382-4357 or on line at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/. Complaints like these are why the FTC is trying to ***** down on robo calls from folks like HSBC.Also of interest, see http://householdwatch.com/monitor/news/initia ... calls-on-sunday.
