I received a call from this person who is listed as "Bo Phillips." I called Medicare two days ago so how do they know that? They are calling and pretending to be Medicare. Not a coincidence. Beware of Phishing...

Called using actual Medicare phone number 800-633-4227 but is not with Medicare. Total scammer. Person with foreign accent said he was with Medicare and they needed to send a new card because I was still using old card. Long story short the person ended up threatening us that he would cancel our Medicare and swearing. Yelling at us in the end. I ***g up and blocked the number but he continued to call several times and phone rang just 1 time. I looked the 800-633-4227 on Been Verified and found SCAMMER. I next called the 800-633-4227 and reached the actual Medicare and reported the call. I was advised to also call the FTC and report and I will do this.

Be ware these are scammers. They pretend to offer no cost add-ons to Medicare but then they **** up when I won't give them any personal information. One of the people even said "F off" to me! They call 6-8 times per day and there is no way to trace the many phone numbers they use. There is also no way to get them to stop calling. When I ask to be taken off the calling list they **** up. If I call back there is a recording that says "hit 1 to be removed from the list" but it does nothing.

My 96 yo mother in Oklahoma received a letter thanking her for setting up a Medicare account. Looked official. It said if you didn't set up a Medicare account, call this number. Glad I could look up the number on a program I have to check for scams. Will file a complaint with the federal government.

he said he was from medicare. Few problems with that. 1. Medicare will NEVER cold call you. 2. I don't have medicare. If anyone legit calls me, they can leave a message. I will call them back. I no longer any numbers I don't recognize.

Claim it's Medicare calling for approval of a free cardio-genetic test. They use a call s****er to pretend they're calling from the real Medicare number on your ID. They couldn't tell me name of test, because there isn't one. Also, I have heart disease already. Medicare never calls, unless you called them and request a call back to avoid waiting on hold.
