American Exp. telephoned me this am and said People Lookers was trying to charge my account $21.51 and I've never had any dealings with them. Phone number given me was 1-800-592-7153. Tried number and was asked for a country code. The charge is a fraud as far as I remember as i use Been Verified. Barbara McKenney Email: [email protected]

I called the Amex number I know, the one listed on my actual card, and verified it IS Amex. A legit call about a late payment, which I made online while talking to them, without giving any confidential information to the person on the phone.

I have received this call 20 plus times in the last 3 weeks. Finally had enough and called them back. The recording that comes on says that it is American Express...and asks for your card number. If you decline, a person comes on the line and attempts to say their name but it bleeped out. So, I asked who it was that I was speaking to and they ***g up. Big Scam...Beware!
