I've received 60 phone calls from the law offices of Gregory J. Barro, plc. I don't owe any money to anybody. I will take these *******s to court for calling me at work.

You receive a final bill. You are responsible to verify the debt, not the third party collector. We can validate the amount due per our client. It is not our responsibility to provide you with an itemized bill. They sent it, if you ignore it, this is where it goes.
(800) 582-0965
Maybe you should check with the bar****ociation. Also maybe you should also check to see that Mr. Gregory Barro was a State Senator for the state of Louisiana. And maybe all of you should learn some telephone etiquette and pay the bill before it gets to a collection office. Maybe you just need to complain about so****ing. And maybe most of us have a college education. Think about that!

I have been getting calls from this s*** for years... for someone who has never lived at this address.. have told them this(i have had said number for 15 years) yet they continue to call and harrass.... Multiple directory searches for this firm will yield many different websites listed as the contact yet NONE of thes websites is even remotley affiliated with this person, nor are they aware he is using their listings! Nothing more than pond s*** trying to recover a debt of someone who I dont know.

I really wanted to think this was a scam. They were billing my son for AT&T charges, but I knew he had a Verizon wireless phone. I first checked with AT&T Wireless, but they had no record of any account listed to my son. Then I called the AT&T Customer Care number on my home phone bill. They confirmed that my son had, in fact, ordered internet service. They confirmed the amount of the bill. They told me the service location which matched where he was living. They even told me that they had turned the account over to Gregory J. Barro, Attorney at Law and gave me a phone number for his office. It matched the number on his letterhead, (800) 582-0965. At least in my son's case, this was legitimate. Sorry.

I can't even validate the Attorney. He's has a very limited website with no info. I don't trust this type of group and I'm not responding to them.

Note - if you are being improperly harassed by these creeps, especially if you are an employer who has told them that they may not call, read the information pasted below from the Better Business Bureau. Also, you may be able to recover money from these "people?", based on violations of the FDCPA, and (possibly) the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Check with an attorney, or research these things for yourself on-line. Very nasty women, called her self to be an attorney, did not want to give any information, I ask her questions before she could give her collection s***ch. I **** up on her, she called back and left a message in a nasty tone, will be reporting them also to the FTC, those people need to be stopped.

******est collections ever...A "Ms.Bates" called stating I owed AT&T, and she wanted me to pay my bill now with a debit/credit card but there would be a $5.00 charge to use the debit. Now let's think, if I had a "past due" bill-due not non payment-why would I incur debt $5.00 to pay a past due...Some people just don't use their material(***in)in their head to think, all they do is try to SCAM money out of people...Let's stop this evil practice and make yourself useful...go to school...

They called me about an ATT bill that was unpaid and were extremely rude when I asked for information on who they were, stating "If you want to know about us look us up on the internet", then threatening to put this on my credit. I called back and got some woman secretary who asked me " Are you gonna pay this bill or not". I will be reporting this to the BBB.

The same thing happened to my mother via a Ms Jones. I advised her she violated the fdcpa. She was extremly borrish and ***g up on her and me as well. I will be reporting them to the FTC and filing a complaint with BBB.

The exact same thing happened to me. Someone calling herself Nancy Drew threatened me with legal action, but could not/ would not validate the debt from AT&T. Said she could not validate it. She ***g up on me when I asked for validation and a letter. She told me they can only send one letter out. So, she couldn't send another letter. When I asked for contact information for a cease and desist, she ***g up on me.
(800) 582-0965
This company called one day out of the blue attempting to collect over $500 from me for a debt that had never been accrued. They claimed to be working on behalf of ATT, but ATT was not aware of the debt being owed. The balance was paid in full at the time that the account was closed. The woman who called herself Ms. Wilson was incredible hateful and repeatedly ***g up on me when I asked for validation of the debt.
