From their recorded message, I have concluded they are trying to collect very old debts. The message said it was for a company I worked for 6 or 7 years ago as a satellite employee. The company has since gone out of business and was based in another state. I have no clue how this collection agency got my mobile number, but if they are calling me to collect my old employer's debt, they must be desperate and willing to try to collect using illegal means from anyone they think they can get money from.
