For those who know who is calling and harrasing you report the number to the FCC. and then when they call the next time Tell them you have reported them to the FCC.

First off, don't look at caller ID and ignore the call, that's why they call upwards of 16 times a day. (*******)Second, why on earth would a scammer need to know where you live? they are obviously calling because they have your credit card info and social security number, trust me, that's all you would need (******)Third, Having heart problems ****s, but so does not paying your f*cking bills. The do not call list prevents people from trying to sell you so****ing, not from trying to collect on so****ing you already racked up and refused to pay.Fifthly, Also when collecting a debt, unless you are on the card, a cosigner, or someone previously authorized by THE SIGNER a collector can't give you details as to why they're calling. The reason for this is you wouldn't believe how many people use their credit cards for affairs they don't want public, lingerie and hotel rooms are justa few charges that often fall delinquent. Also, if a collector leaves a message with, say, someone who works with the person in debt, and it becomes known that they are at risk of bad financial standing, their career can take a plunge. Don't b***h about the things they do to protect your privacy, or the nutjob who thinks everyone's a scammer will have a fit.Sixthly, collector have extensive training in FDCPA regulations, nowhere does it state that they can't call someone because they aren't feeling well. boo-f***ing-who. and it also doesn't say you are allowed to talk to a supervisor any time you want. Here's my promised update: in my case they are a collection agency for National City Bank claiming I had a delinquent credit card. However I do not and the account is in another persons name. The problem arose when somehow my phone number became attached to this account. Would they believe me? NO! The nuisance call center could not find them as they are hiding behind the 800 #. This I do not understand. After three calls to the real National City Bank the issue is cleared up. Thank God. I'm sure they work for many businesses and that is why there seems to be such discrepancy in their names and tactics. I hope this may be of some help. Best wishes to all.

Like everyone else here these ****s call umpteen times a day. S****ed about a month ago. I reported them to the Do Not Call List; didn't seem to help. I have now notified my phone provider (in my case the cable co.) who gave me the number of a nuisance call center. With my permission they have put a tracer on my phone intending to find the service provider for the aforementioned ****s. They then said they would issue a cease and desist order. I will report back later with the results, but at least I feel so****ing concrete is happening.

No message was left on answering ma****e, and if I picked up, there was no voice on the other end, but only clicking sounds indicating the connection was being broken. This number is from National City Card Services. I have been getting about 7 to 10 phone calls per day from this number, and when it would go to voicemail they wouldn't leave a message. I have a couple of accounts with them (unfortunately) but none are in default. Finally I got fed up with the calls so I had my mom answer the phone. They wanted to talk to me and when I "wasn't available" they wanted to talk to my Aunt (who is on one of my accounts). My mom said that neither of us were available and asked what the phone call was in reguards to, the person said that they wanted to tell me about a new credit card. If you ask me, that's a whole lot of harassment just to tell me about a credit card!! They better never call me like that a***n, it's just plain rude. I used to work for them but got out because they were doing ****** things like this.

national city credit card, no supervisor available AND recording of the conversation without proper notification. Recording for evidence, not training purposes. completely dependant upon their computer which requires stuff like when payment might be sent and the amount of said payment. wouldn't mind so much if they weren't calling someone who is 83 years old and is having trouble hearing some young guy who is all about his commission from the payment received. Could easily be interpertred as threatening when a good supervisor could DEFUSE the situation. Would recommend written communication in the future. No care for the elderly at all from the employee we talked wtih--very aggressive. No respect for the law either. Didn't bat an eye when mention of the FBI or Homeland Security came up. Didn't care.

I received 3 calls from them in one day. I answered the first time and they said please hold for an important message, I waited & heard another message asking me to please hold a***n. I waited another 30 seconds & ***g up because the line sounded dead on the other end. Later in the day I received 2 more calls within 1 minute of each other. I did not answer these calls & no message was left. I am not going to waste my cell phone minutes on these calls. If this is an important call I wish they would identify themselves and leave a message. I would be happy to return a call if I know what it was about.
