This number is from Fingerhut, typically it is Fingerhut calling asking for the person on the account that also has your phone number, and the account is pass due. If you do not have a Fingerhut account or your account is paid and current. call them back and have them fix the problem. If you don't have a Fingerhut account or your current, you need to call them because they will relentlessly call daily and will not stop as long as their computer shows the account with your number on it because the system is automated and the computer at their end will continue until the end of time unless you talk to a real person and have them fix it. If you don't want to talk to them and your phone has a do not disturb phone number list ability, place that number on the list and your phone will no longer ring when they call. I spoke with the "representative" on the telephone and asked that they update their records. I was told by the "representative" that she was not able to confirm my request. I got a new mobile number and for two weeks this number called me asking for some else and when I told them this was not the person they were asking for, they ***g up on me before I could say anything. So, today I said yes that I was that person and asked for a call back number which they gave and then let them know that this was NOT the person they were asking for...well, the caller got pretty tick'ed off at me and ***g up. I then called the call back number and spoke to a VERY nice person, explaining my situation and she updated the recorded. This is FingerHut and they are calling on past due accounts...If you are in the same situation that I was in...call 866 836 8987 and polity ask them to update the record, and maybe if you are lucky like I was...they will.

If everybody would call the toll free number from a pay phone several times a day their cost of business would increase - perhaps enough that they would go out of business When calling the toll free number you just have to make sure the call connects.
