If you do not have a Fingerhut account or your account is paid and current. call them back and have them fix the problem. If you don't have a Fingerhut account or your current, you need to call them because they will relentlessly call daily and will not stop as long as their computer shows the account with your number on it because the system is automated and the computer at their end will continue until the end of time unless you talk to a real person and have them fix it. If you don't want to talk to them and your phone has a do not disturb phone number list ability, place that number on the list and your phone will no longer ring when they call. if you have or have had a finger hut account then they will keep calling , if you are not late it is usually to remind you that you have credit that you can use, if you have paid the account off then you need to put it in writing that you want to close the account, after that then you can recored every time they call so you can turn them it

We recently received our new telephone number after moving to a new area and it appears that the number used to belong to someone who has “skipped out” on a lot of debt. I spoke with the "representative" on the telephone and asked that they update their records. I was told by the "representative" that she was not able to confirm my request. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was disconnected from the call. Wonderful customer service, from a company that might expect to have my business sometime in the future.

I got a new mobile number and for two weeks this number called me asking for some else and when I told them this was not the person they were asking for, they ***g up on me before I could say anything. So, today I said yes that I was that person and asked for a call back number which they gave and then let them know that this was NOT the person they were asking for...well, the caller got pretty tick'ed off at me and ***g up. I then called the call back number and spoke to a VERY nice person, explaining my situation and she updated the recorded. This is FingerHut and they are calling on past due accounts...If you are in the same situation that I was in...call 866 836 8987 and polity ask them to update the record, and maybe if you are lucky like I was...they will.

If everybody would call the toll free number from a pay phone several times a day their cost of business would increase - perhaps enough that they would go out of business When calling the toll free number you just have to make sure the call connects. Obviously, they haven't. It's hard because we need to answer every call even if they are telemarketers (no caller ID) and it's nerve-racking when you tell them to remove your number from their list - especially knowing it's a business number.
