The reason there is no one on the line when you pick up this call is because their computer system is waiting to decipher if they have a live pick up and if they do then the computer goes and selects the recording their going to play. If you **** on long enough you should get the recording which is usually junk mail. I too receive it from one of my Alstate agents calling to wish me Happy Birthday or Happy Thanksgiving - - that sort of thing. .

this is front sight located in arizona great company signed up to receive occasional calls in the emails. they call about 2times a day sometimes more and send at least 3 emails a day. I do wish they had an option to limit how many times I contact you. otherwise this is an awesome company highly recommended.

I think this may be a service businesses can use to contact people on their list (my chiropractor uses it to call his clients if he's going to be closed on a day he's normally open) if I answer the phone I get the "wrong number" message, if I ignore and let it go to voicemail I get his message... don't know if this is the same number or not as I've been called twice from the number now and no message.

I called this number back and the recording said it is called Blacklist. People who I do business with use it for sending me automated calls. I received this call, heard no voice and waited. Then the call went to static and ended. No name appeared on the Caller ID display, except the phone number 1-800-492-9169 and the word Unavailable. An internet search turns up some very odd results for this phone number with caller ID's that vary from Alexander Chiropractic, to Crown Carpet Care, and apparently according to reports, someone will answer and say wrong number even though they call you back several times. This not a complaint. I am posting this for information purposes for people resear****g this number. Conclusion first: the 800# must be for a company that provides automated dialing services. I saw this number on my caller ID and did not answer. I then googled the number and it led to this site where I read many complaints. I then logged into my voice mail and listened to the message, It was a recorded message from the medical practice I use informing me of a free sa****ay seminar on stress management and presentation of findings from recent medical studies. The medical practice I use is comepletly legitimate and holds weekend seminars a few time a year to inform their clients about new developmenst in the medical field (it's a very high quality, progressive, practice). I conclude from this that the 800# must be for some company that provides automated dialing services. You have no way of knowing who it is for unless you answer or it leaves a message. Could be a fraudulent scheme, or could be some company you know.

I knowingly signed up for some "free" mortgage information and this guy has figured out a way to be able to keep calling. He simply makes it impossible to contact him to get off his list. There is no place on his website to ask to be removed from his automated calling list. If you call any of his business numbers you get a recording. If you answer the phone you get a ****up. I get several of these automated messages a week and I am sick of it.
