Received call on a Sunday afternoon that an inmate from out of State was trying to contact me. The automated system requested a CC # to be able to connect & accept call. It provided a web address to create an account www. bypass/connect - I looked up phone number and it shows registered to 'John P#tts'

This number is a scam. Block them. BUT! In case any of your friends or family get in trouble they will be able to call you for free t first. They have a few free calls per week. In this case, you don't pay by phone but go online and register yourself under a specific inmate number and deposit money on your account. The calls a very cheap! Just a few cents per minute.

I was finally able to get a human being on the phone and they can't tell you what inmate. So no these people are completely full of **** and trying to get your credit card information
