I've had dealings with this company before and had to shut down my bank account because even after I. canceled they continued to take money there a scam that cost us several ***dred dollars before we cuaght it I would advise anyone to cancel right away don't wait.

Have any of you bought a NuWave oven?  My boyfriend called in to order a NuWave off the infomercial and they asked if we wanted to sign up for this "discount service"to receive a $25 Walmart gift card and a $25 gas card and it would only cost $1.95 two times.  The NuWave rep also informed us we need to call them to cancel in two weeks or else we will be charged about $20 a month.  Our 2 weeks isn't up until February 11th and we will be calling to cancel on that day and if we get charged anything more after that I will be upset!  Hopefully this helps!!!

I have contacted my credit card company and cancelled my account and will fill out a fraud form, Also contacted the MN attn. general (another form) and the NJ attn. general (form 3).  Next, AARP and maybe on of our TV proplem solvers.  I am so mad.  Any other ideas?

SEM*BUDGET SAVERS / 800-4751942 MN has removed $24.95 from my account on September 9, 2010, October 9, 2010, November 9, 2010 and December 9, 2010.  What can I do to get this stopped.  I canceled this business once before after they s****ed doing it.  I'm not sure how much they've stolen from me before this.

this WC- Value Plus made charges on my credit card for $24.95 last March and this month,I'm pretty sure I did not made such charges,I already dispute this transaction and its under investigation, so be careful guys, i think this is scam!!!!

just noticed a charge on my account for 16.95 from WC Value Plus (800-475-1942 MN Mail/phone).  I call and the woman knows my name(first & last)& proceeds to ask for my zip which I didn't give her. I ask what kind of company is this & why am i am being charged she states its for member services I tell her that means absolutely nothing to me what is member services she informs me that have lots of products out and I need to give my zip code if I want her to help me, I **** and inform my bank I am waiting for a call back on how to proceed. I am going to inform the Better Business Bureau, I suggest anyone else who has been scamed by them do the same

I never received a call and i never signed up for anything. after buying the h20 vacuum from thane.com i suddenly have been getting spammed and NOW see a $21.95 on my checking with this phone number exactly one month after. i cancelled my card and filed a dispute. WHAT A SCAM!!!

I've had several calls from companies attempting to co-he**** me into s****ing so****ing I didn't ask for but I never do. I've always told them I don't have time to discuss this at this time. So as far as I'm concerned they've had my cc info without my authorization. I purchased so****ing from an infomercial 1 time using the cc they have and after that is when the charges came. And the scary thing is that they aren't affiliated with the company I purchased from therefore they stole my cc info. They agreed to refund my cc in 3 -5 business days without asking any questions. I work in customer service and I know that a legitimate company wouldn't just agree to refund you your money without any questions. I was on the phone with the customer service representative for all of 2 minutes. That's good for me but that's fishy.

My credit card account also keeps getting charged $19.95  to Pro Value Plus (800-475-1942)Hopkins, MN. I never authorized this.  I called to have it stopped and they said I had to send a letter. I have confirmation the letter was received, now I'm going to see what happens next.  Wish me luck

I never called them they just began charging my AMEX card $16.95 per month since November 2008 for each of 2 services The first service is Value Plus Monthly and the other one is Homeplay Monthly. AMEX credited me back only $67.80 as they explained to me that they could only credit back 60 days of charges according to the law. I never ordered or subscribed to anything from them. What a fraud! They probably bill millions of people and only a handful discover it before they disappear.

No one called. Like Samantha and Anita, I bought Pedi Paws on their website and they also offered a free trial membership for 7 days for a bunch of coupons. The membership was eff immediatly and the site said I would receive an email with the info to access this account. That was 3 days ago and my account was charge $1.95. I immediately called to dispute and block this. I also sent another email to them (that they provided in the ad) and told them to cancel IMMEDIATELY! I realized that once I accepted the free offer I never got a formal reciept for the PediPaws. I hope they are not part of this scam!

I did NOT receive a call from them but there was a charge of 19.95 on my credit card acct! I called the credit card to get it taken off & they transferred me 3 times & I wound up talking with Kyle! BUT he was NOT with credit card co. he was with Memembership services! I asked him how the heck I got him when I was suppose to be talking to Chase Credit card etc! He said I must have mis-dialed! I told him NO WAY I mis-dialed! He said he would take the charges off etc. I asked HOW did they get my credit card info, he said I made a purchase on-line & I signed up for this WC Value ****! WHICH I DID NOT! SO I talked to the credit card company a***n, security, they are issuing another credit card & closed that acct etc! I am sooooo ****ed about this! bank charges for $19.95 since Aug 28, 2008 every month. I called the 800 number and was promised a form for a refund within 7-10 business days. I never give my credit card info over the phone unless I make the call.

I checked my bank account this morning and found $19.95 being debited from my account for the last two months. I cancelled today but we'll see if they actual cancel. This is such a rip-off!

I had ordered one of those Pedi Paws for my pets and they had trouble with the order so I had this sterling silver company call me and said that since it was such an inconvenience to me that they were going to send me a free pair of earrings for my trouble and wanted me to look over a necklace they had.I told them I didnt want the necklace but they sent it any way and charges me $39.95 for it well I sent it back and they finally refunded that but now this WC place took out $16.95 out of my account I called them and supposedly the are going to refund me that and another $39.95 that they were going to take out of my account! I ordered Patch Perfect and suddenly $16.95 s****ed showing up on my credit card every month. When I called the number to inquire what the charge was for, I was told I had authorized payment for coupons. Not only did I not authorize this, I have never received any coupons. The lady I spoke with said she would cancel the account but stated if I wanted a refund for previous months charges I would have to fill out a form. I will be calling my cc company to dispute these charges.

My husband ordered some items on-line (Perfect Patch for your lawn)in July. S****ing August 2008 this company began taking money monthly from our account. They say when you order so****ing on-line they automatically sets you up with this company and unless you call and cancel they will continue to debit from your account each month. I have filed a complaint with the BBB with as much info as I can give. I also notified my bank, which I have filed a complaint for unauthorized transactions.

My husband and me noticed a couple of days ago a charge on our account for $16.95. We called our bank, and they gave us a phone # listed with the charge. We called and they told us they were Best Value, Value Plus or so****ing like that. They claim that some other company signed us up for this membership. We told them WE DID NOT AUTHORIZED any charge, and that they were stealing our money! They said, a***n, that this was a membership that we were signed up for. We asked for this whole thing to be cancelled, and they said they did. But the charge is still there. We have not seen our money back yet. We had to cancel that debit card, and now we are afraid they can access any bank information we have, since they did before. This is awful! Who is protecting us?????? Who are these people that can steal money from others and walk free?????????

I have to give this company credit as they have followed thru on issuing the credit to my account. I called on Friday night to discuss these unapproved charges on my credit card and they said they would credit it back. This afternoon I checked my account and there were 2 credits for $16.95 each for the July and August charge. I am very thankful they followed thru.

I found this Value Plus-V charge on my credit card. I called them and the guy said yes I signed up for a membership and I do regret giving him my name. I should have asked him what name they had for the charge. He said they would credit the $16.95 and gave me his name and a cancellation #. I plan on closing that card and get new one. CHECK YOUR STATEMENTS EVERY MONTH!

Hi everyone. I can't understand how these guys can get away with it for so long! I too have been charged by WC HOMEPLAY-V with 16.95 since January. Although a couple of months I "managed" to contact that "company" and they confirmed to have cancelled the payments, I noticed today that I was charged both last month and this month the same amount by the same company. I called today a***n and their computers are conveniently "down".And on top of the cake, I have been on hold with the Dispute Department of my bank for about 40 mins now - "you are a valued customer and we appreciate your call ... blah blah blah ... next available specialist to****ist you". Is this the payment day and they work together?

Same thing happened to me.  I am totally P-O'd!  I've never heard of these people.  I didn't order anything, and it's scary how they can get my card number and charge me.  Apparently they've been charging me since January.  (I didn't notice, I just had a baby so my mind is slowly cat****g up!)  I just called the CC company and they tried to get 'these people' on the phone and were told that 'their' computers were down.  Oh how convenient.  So they are supposed to call me back.  She said in 20 minutes, but it's been like 40 already.

Both Homeplay-v and Valueplus-v got $19.95 from my credit card, each.I'm disputing it as we speak, but the credit card co. hasn't responded to my inquery, and we're coming up on a week ...with a new bill.

We had these charges show up last year.  My husband called and "canceled" whatever membership this was.  I just looked over our bank statement and there they are a***n.  I was going to called them, but s****ed to do research on them and found this website.  I've called my bank and they said that the charges were done on my husbands card and they would have to cancel it, and dispute the charges.  Who knows how long that will take.

$16.95 was taken out of my account before someone had called me. Knowing that, I was frustrated with any type of 800/866 #'s so I yelled at the guy that apparently read by check card # back to me. ***...I guess i am a victim too.  Being in the Internet security profession, I figured I am very careful with my info.  The only thing i can think of is our cc # has leaked from one of our purchase vendor.  There is no oter way.  I called my cc company and, same thing, they want me call the valueplus which i know i will get the same reply as everyone else.  If I don't get my $ back ($80), I will force my cc company to refund $ or I will cancel my 2 cc with them.  I charged about $10,000 a month... the cc stand to lose more from me.I encourage everyone to do the same.  Cc company don't refund then you take your business elsewhere.  That's te only way they will listen. The cc companies are forcing the merchants to be PCI (payment card industry) standard compliant which most of  merchants are either skirting the com pliancy or buying their way through it.... watch your wallet...

They're also giving me a full refund (in installments, meh) so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it all works out. I'm a student and really can't afford an extra $40 charge on my account. :(

Ok, they got me too.  It showed up on my credit card as a $16.95 fee.I did not call the 1800 number, I looked up in google and found this website.I called my cc company and told them I would like to dispute this charge.  They said no problem, but that it would take a while for it to show up, and that it would keep comming back each month---no way to block it.  I had them **** the card to new charges.From what everyone is saying, I guess there is little to no hope of ever getting this to stop, and even the cc company dose not seem to really care much.  The took it as a great oppourtunity to try to sell me on their "wallet protection plan.".If it shows up a***n on my new cc issued number (I will have in a few days) then I will just pay off the card and close the account completely.

Found two charges a month apart on our credit card bill - each for $19.95, and each labelled PRO*VALUE PLUS MONTHLY 800-475-1942 MN.  Called the number, they said they had no info on our account, that they work for several companies, and asked us to fax our credit card statement to them so they could refund the money.  As if!!  I called the credit card company and reported this.  They are currently pursuing this issue.  Meanwhile, I've protected all of our personal info with our McAfee Security System, and am looking into iden***y protection.

I didnt recieve a call.  I noticed a 16.95 charge on my debit card that said WC*Explore USA MBR.  At first I thought maybe it was an annual charge for a CC but then I got charged a***n.  I called the number and it to gave me a website.  I looked up the website and couldnt find it so I typed this number into google and found this page!!! Thats a nice shock.  I guess ill be calling my bank at 8a sharp!!!

I received numerous calls on my cell phone. I only answered one. They were a telemarketer. I did not give them my bank card information. They did 3 bank withdrawals from my account. I never received a phone call.  I have never heard of this company.  I noticed an unusual charge on my account and reported to the bank.  They gave me the phone number of the company that took the funds, and when I called the recording gave me the website.  My bank is looking into the matter and will press charges if needed.  Meanwhile they are refunding my money and closing the card this company used to defraud me of my funds.  I would like to know how they were able to get my personal information.  I looked at another site and other people have had the same situation with this company.  I hope these crooks get caught!!  The other site with information from people who were defrauded of funds is www.800notes.com
