These people have called me multiple times, but ONLY on a Saturday. I have no delinquent accounts. I have called PenFed and there is absolutely no record of why the REAL PenFed would want to talk to me. If it was valid, there would be a record. Then, I got back to back random email, with a random senders email and my name spelled wrong with incorrect grammar. Clearly scam.

I just got off the phone with the "rea" Pen Fed and they confirmed that if your payment is delinquent, this is the number they tell you to call.

It's a legit number for the delinquency control department - if you don't believe it call the regular number 800-247-5626 and get transferred or simply pay your bills ontime and no one will call.

800-451-7269 is a SCAMMER. They are not Pentagon Federal Credit Union (PFCU). They call daily and leave a message to call the 800 number about my account. If you call a legit PFCU number you'll discover that they did not call you!

got called by this number, sounded fishy, called the PFCU contact number for information. after an hour and a half on the phone, they said that this is an automated number calling deliquent credit card accounts or something. Its not listed on the main PFCU page because its in their collections department. All the information that I gave to this number was reflected by the official number, so it seems legit. I had to pay with a different bank account, and when I read this forum and thought "Fruad!" called the other bank to see what was up. Apparently the exact amount was taken and it was addressed correctly to my account. The other bank said it was an official transfer and that they will watch the account regardless.Everything worked out fine for me.

I called this number, and it sounded legit, although I cannot confirm if it is. I spoke to Mr Goodman, who said he worked in the collections department at Pentagon Federal Credit Union on Eisenhower Drive in Alexandria. Is this a PFCU number or not?
