The number is a scam, I called the number on the back of my card because the number left in voicemail and the prerecorded message did not match the card. Citibank stated my account was fine and there was no reason to call me, then she put my on hold and called the number. When they answered she questioned them and they ***g up on her, they did the same thing to me when I refused to give them my credit information. Beware if Citibank needs to get in touch with you they will mail you stating so and will only call number on the account which the number these scam artist kept calling is not on my account.

Leaves half a pre recorded message and says they are from Citibank. I don't have any business with Citibank, so I never tried to return the call.

They call me a minimum of five times on a daily basis. They were asking for someone that is not at this number. They said they would end the call after ten seconds if there was not a response. They did say what the nature of the call was about. I have them on call block but they left a message.

This is a total scam. They keep calling on a google voice number that I only use for the internet. It's not listed on anything personal, it doesn't have my name on it anywhere. I've never had a citi card (not even a gas card, which many are backed by citi), i've never had a citi bank account (personally, I hate citibank and would never use them for anything). fortunately, google voice allows you to block numbers where they get a message saying 'number you called is not in service).. this particular number was going directly into google voice spam folder (so obviously google knows is a scam).. now that I've blocked the number completely, It won't even go in there. more proof it's a scam.. since they're calling on a google voice number, and not my landline which is used for everything I do including banking.. and is unlisted with my name and address right in the phone book.. what more proof does anyone need?

They claim to be calling from Citi and ask for my account number. When I delay, a message says transferring to an operator and then I get a "your call cannot be completed as dialed" message. If this isn't Citi, as I suspect, they're pretty ***zen about leaving a message that says, "call our automated line back and give us your credit card number"If it is Citi... why would they ask there customers to do this? Call a blind number and 'trust' that the automated answering ma****e belongs to Citibank???They constantly send junkmail about how they take my privacy seriously.Seriously??
