Guys, if you get a call from this number and you havent applied for a Discover card, call it back. I just applied for one yes****ay and got this call so I googled it before calling back and it is Discover trying to confirm that you indeed inquired about an account so if you get this call and you havent applied for a card, somebody is using your iden***y and you need to look into it ASAP

I applied for a Discover card on Sunday (2 days ago) and they told me he need to review for my application and call me back. Today they call me back (from this number) and asked for additional questions like previous address and the purpose for the application, but they never asked SSN. After I told them the info, they told me my card is approved. I think it's legit since they know my info (even my previous address which I forget to tell them).

I answered one of their many calls instead of letting it go to the ma****e. I spoke to a live person (instead of the robo-messages) who claimed to be from Discover Card. They have been asking for my wife with whom they had a recent "correspondence" (possibly stemming from a card application). They gave a return number of 888-347-3205 since she was unavailable at the time. When she had a chance to return the call, the first thing they requested after her name was her FULL SS#, not the last 4 digits. They also could not match her with the same phone number they would call as much as 3-5 times a day. If they continue to call after today (a request we both made) then we will file a complaint.
