They sent me a IRS tax form 1099c. It looks official and might scare you. But this is Zombie debt. If you are dumb and call their 800 number the 7 year clock s****s running a***n. Don't call. Call the IRS only to verify it is fake. They will have copies of any 1099 issued for you. It might take an hour on the phone with the IRS but never call a zombie debt collector.

this company, first source advantage, is contracted by capitol one credit card to handle past debt. unfortunately once capitol one has handed the account to this company, they, capitol one will not discuss your account. first source advantage will call saying that unless you pay your account will go to legal and a lawsuit will be filed and you are responsible for all fees, fines and expenses generated to collect on this account. if you do a google search on this company the results from customers are mixed. do not hesitate for a moment to ask for a supervisor if the agent you speak with is harsh or rude with you.
