This caller claimed to be from PNC Loss Prevention. I let it ring to voicemail since it came through as a name I didn't recognize (Tanazja S Johnson) and listened to the voicemail later. It claimed to be PNC Loss Prevention calling about possible fraudulent charges on my card. I called my local PNC ***nch and they said this was spam, as neither they nor I could find fraudulent activity.

they called asking me to verify a purchase. but the thing that tipped me off that it was fishy was that they called my /parents'/ number that hasnt been****ociated to my card since i was 17, and asked for me. i also have never had pnc call me before, i always call them if i need****istance. been that way ever since i got my card. playing it safe and****uming its spam

This is actually PNC. Since I checked this page and saw everyone saying it was a scam, I did not call them back. ...So my debit card got locked due to what they deemed su****ious activity and a bunch of my automatic payments didn't go through and I had a whole lot of stress to deal with. THIS IS PNC.

Called and left a message and fake callback number supposedly related to fraudulent activity on my account. Called the real PNC and they verified that it was a scam and that the caller had apparently tried to process a transaction using my card number (which was declined by PNC).

Fraudulent activity on my account. I confirmed with PNC this is NOT a PNC number and it is a phishing call. There was a charge that was fraud, but they use this as a tactic to steal money from your account. My friend had it happen and they stole $1,000.

Seems like a scam they left a message about fraudulent activity on my debit card, except that I barely use my debit card and I work from home so I didn’t call back because there are been no large purchases on my account in months

calling to tell me some su****ious activity was found on my pnc bank account. At the time $499.00 was withdrawn on account but it disappeared and my account now is ok

It's pnc, legit. Calling about purchases I made online that declined, since it was overseas they thought that my stuff had been stolen and this call was to reaffirm everything

This is a robocall scam, don’t give them your information! Call your bank directly using number on back of your card.

Not a spam call. It was calling to verify my recent banking activity as I had declined charges from an online merchant.
