The 778-328-9992 number is a fraud operation, s****ing August 10th 2010 they have began calling people a***n, and they began targeting more people on September 16th. They will not leave a message or voicemail regarding the call due to the fact that it could be used as evidence a***nst them. They will first call a group of numbers using an automated dialer, and once the dialer suspects someone has picked up, they are notified and they get on the line to begin their scam (this is why people are receiving messages of music then someone saying*****o). If you waste their time (pick up the phone and put it up to a radio or television), it fools the automated dialer and wastes most of their valuable time for their operation--and if everyone does this, their scam will no longer be profitable.DO NOT give them any information under any cir***stances, and do not answer yes or no to anything. If you do accidentally pick up the phone, your best bet is to waste their time by speaking incoherently or keeping them on the line as long as possible to ultimately lead them into nowhere.Beware that this company has also began targeting message boards such as this, they will pose as an everyday person and pretend to have been called by this number and try to make you scared by claiming the company ruined their credit or took them to court for not paying, the purpose of this is to ultimately scare you into giving them money, don't fall for it. Lastly, the company will also use tricks to break you down, they will scream at you, make you feel guilty for not paying an imaginary bill, use phrases such as "see you in court". What is happening is the original company (CBV Collections) is attempting to make additional profits by creating an additional ***nch for scamming people by persuading them to voluntarily pay for imaginary bills under the phrasing of a "business operation".Call the RCMP, contact your local police, and contact Bell Ca***a. If you get caught in this mess, make sure you record the phonecalls, especially when they are mysteriously unable to provide you with any details about the imaginary bill, unable to reference the account number and unable to tell you the original billing address.**Most importantly: Waste their time!!*** 7783289992 fraud 778 3289992 fraud 778-328-9992 fraud (778) 328-9992 fraud 1-778-328-9992 fraud 7783289992 fraud 17783289992 fraud 1-778-328-9992 ***

I just got 5 calls in the last hour from this number (778-328-9992), of course I dont answer my cell if I dont know the #, but if it is a scam has no one called the police or Bell and asked them to cancell the # or anything. When I looked into the #, it said it was a Bell account. I dont understand why they would let someone keep a # if it was a #they are doing scams from. Both Bell and this scam company should be charged. If Bell doesnt disconect the # after proof that they are running scams from it, they are just as guilty as the scammers. Im going to report this to the police now. That ringing drives me nuts, my cell is for emergencies not scammers. Has anyone found the address of were these people are calling from? I have a good friend that works for Bell so Im going to get the adress of the account holder, and pay them a visit in person.

This is CBV Collections. They are persistent ****s. They keep calling me about a former roommate whom I have no idea how to contact. This has been going on for at least a year. I'm so fed up. They insist on calling me regardless of what I say and have said that they won't stop until I hand the person's new contact info over... which I don't have. The process to deal with them is a drag. The first caller is automated. Then they claim it's my debt. So I correct them. They refer me to another person, and after being on hold for a while, I go through the same thing a***n. Then they agree to leave me alone as long as I tell them where the other person is, which I don't know, so they then tell me that they will keep calling *****ey clog up my answering service with automated calls. ****s.There's also the number 866-333-***9.

I called them back using an IP address as my number...(though i'd mess with them a bit) they asked me alot of questions...mostly being why I was calling them. I told them it was a wrong number dial... I was looking for blah blah... they would not tell me who they were though I asked a few times and said things like "did (make up name here) put you up to this"?? "it would be just like (same) to get his secretary to do this to me" They wouldn't dish any info... I kept at it. they eventually ***g up on me... Her name was Jenn and she spoke with a clear asian dialect....

in addition; TALKED TO MY POLICEMAN HUSBAND, report this to police; the REASON THEY DO NOT TAKE MONEY ORDERS is most are trying to get you to give them your credit card numbers; they likely can't cash a money order; and if they refuse payment, their is a legallity you don't owe; but after a certain number of years; can't remember if it is 6 or 7 years, the debt goes dead if they have had no communication; check this out with govt. BUT THIS IS A SCAM - CALL THE POLICE this is likely a portable throw away cell number

Called me at 7:30AM PSTNot from my Time Zone.Asked for me by first name only, and said they were calling about my fido account.I told them to **** off. Fido f**kec me over for 10 years, now I'm giving them a taste of their own medicine.I told them I'd be more then happy to go to court where I would inform the judge of all the illegal practices they used while I was with them.I'd sure like to know how they got my number, it's been almost a year since I heard from them. They have another number: 1-866-387-8751

They use many different numbers, this is CBV collections. It seems that Telus uses this account to collect on old debts. Be careful when closing a Telus account, if you move and they don't have your new address etc... they let it sit and then turn it over to CBV collections, a***n it sits and you find out most of the time when you apply for credit somewhere... it then shows up on your credit report. Telus needs to get a better handle if you are owing money on an account when it closes.

Ive been getting calls from them for at least two years. They just called a***n, I called back and gave the woman an earful about my daytime minutes and workman hours Ive had to waste. They have been looking for a man called Xiang. They took me off the list, but they told me that a year ago, too. Im going to find out where they are located and write a letter. Maybe paper will work better than yelling......

Keeps calling and calling, most of the time when I answer, there is hold music asking me to wait for the next available pesona to speak about a very important business matter. The otherday I actually stayed on the line, only to be ***g up on. Today they called a***n and left a voice message for "Dennis" even though I clearly say my name on my voicemail! So frusterating!
