If this prankster gets his kicks out of harrassing people through unwanted calls...he probably gets as many kicks as possible from as many sources as possible. I was just about to add my comment of similar frustration,then hesitated to add my real name--where do we think this individual is getting our names and numbers from? My guess is that it is an employee of some company who has access to records & does this on the side. Or,calls random phone numbers and sees what name pops up on his phone's caller i.d. Or,he calls when you're not there and hears your outgoing announcement that might be your own voice saying "This is the Doe residence...John and Jane aren't here right now...but..." I've also been getting similar "dead" calls on my cell phone that says "This is your last opportunity to reduce the interest on your account, etc." Which account? I've dialed callback and get no answer. This or these individuals are going to continue, I'm guessing. I wonder if any news agencies have covered this, yet? I'll be checking out how to use call block on both my numbers. Its terrible, that we think we're getting an important call..and never find out. Anonymous

I've c****ed my ringer to three rings, then off to voice mail. (763) 519-8887 called 3 times in 3 days a few months ago and, as usual, let the voice mail pick up after 3 rings. No messages, but no return tries either. He must of given up knowing what happens.It may seem like a hassle, but if it's a legitamate call, they'll leave a message if you can't get to see who's calling in time. Over the year we've had this #, this system sure has cut down on the irritation.Here's a hint; Use the default automated digital voice response so it's not your voice that can be recorded.
