It is a company called DEBT EQUITIES LLC - they are no better than any of the other CA's, they just claim to be :) And you are correct, they do not show who they are when calling. I filed a complaint with the FTC and they are following up on it, but with me the guy said he was going to 'garnish me'. Not without a lawsuit first, and the fact that he said he was going to do so UNLESS I paid is a violation of the Fair Credit and Trade Act - I'll be getting money in the form of a fine levied a***nst them because he was ****** enough to even say it. The FTC considers that a form of 'threat'.

Not sure who this is, but they call once a month. Never leave a message either. I don't bother trying to call back, because quite honestly, if it's a collector, they are illegally hiding behind a 's****' ID - the law is VERY clear on they must not hide who they are when calling someone. We used to get more frequent calls from the number, but a***n, they went to once a month.
