I got a call from this 760-561-3515 last night from someone name Salvestor from the Law of of California.  Now I reside in Pennsylvania.  He called me on my cell, and I couldn't really understand his broken english and I just listened to see what he had to say.  At the end of his script because it is scripted, he asked "do you have any questions?" I said, "yes", I advised him "I don't know who you are and the payday loan company supposely I owe them $5000.00 and have a court date on Friday, and how come they couldn't contact me for their money and it went to a lawyers office to claim what is theirs if I had borrowed the money from them....".  Then I responded to them, "you guys are a scam and the company you represent is a scam".  then he said he they had my name and social security number and I would have to prove my case in court that I don't owe the money", I told them, "no they would have to show signed, legal docu***ents, bank statements, and any other written hard copy to 'prove' that I owe them anything", and lastly I mentioned, "for you guys to be a legal dept, you guys can't smell a scam when you hear it?", then I just ***g up.They are a scam

I have received several calls both on my cell and at my office. They s**** off by identifying themselves as calling from a Law office in California about a legal action that has been filed a***nst me for borrowing money from U.S. Cash. Of course I have never borrowed money from U.S. Cash, but rather than argue with them I immediately advise them that I do work for an attorney and their iden***y, location and phone information has been reported to California Attorney General's Office, Consumer Affairs, and the FBI's While Collar Crime Unit. Once they heard this immediately ***g up and when I tried to call back all I got was a busy signal. This is definitely a scam and the number is coming from somewhere in Victorville, CA in San Berdadino County. I have lodged a formal complaint with the California State Attorney's Office and the FBI's While Collar Crime Division. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY MONEY IT IS A SCAM AND NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. Whenever you get a call, send another letter to the CA State Attorney's Office and White Collar Crime Unit of the FBI, that is the only way to get these guys if everyone files the same Complaints.

These are the people that buy written off or charged off debts from Credit Cards, payday loans etc... when credit card companys and payday companys etc finally give up on getting money from you, they will charge off your debt..  then these companies buy your debt for pennies from these companies and they s**** calling you, they try to scare people into paying them money, they attempt to get your to pay on the phone... bad thing is, say you pay it all?  you debt still says charged off, and it doesnt clear you record, this company just robbed you.report the number, ignore them, or if you bored s**** talking **** to them on phone, they get kinda rude.if you ignore them, they will go away, they never take you to court.  kinda the same as if you get caught shoplifting, and the store you stole from sends you case to a lawyer, they try to scare you into paying some money, this is to "cover" their costs for security, its another scam, they never take you to court if your theft is below a certian dollar amount.. dont pay.

My daughter got a call from this number today on her cell and her at home.  She was getting the same kind of threatening phone calls a  few weeks ago so I have been checking into this.  She went up on the internet and was looking to get a loan several months ago.  She never got any money from any company but now these people are calling her and leaving these messages.  You can look these numbers up and most of them are phony debt collectors trying to scare you into giving them money.  You need to turn them into the BBB, the attorney general's office, the FBI.  I read all this a few weeks ago when they were calling from the other number listed in CA.  Seems to be where most of the calls are coming from.  Now I am going to turn this number in also.  I hope they catch these low lives.  Just ripen people off....don't fall for this.  They always end the message by saying, if you don't call or if your attorney doesn't call GOOD LUCK BECAUSE I CAN"T HELP YOU.

I got a call from this guy today, but he was calling from (559) 823-5337.  He left a message on my home voice mail saying that I had to call him back right away, blah blah blah, and that if I don't call me back then good luck.  The number he told me to call him back at was (760) 561-3515).  He also called my cell number saying that he was Office Jason Brown from a law office in Long Beach.  When I told him to send me so****ing in writing, he told me check my email.  Of course I hadn''t rec'd any email from such a person or law firm.  I've already called the BBB in my State, and now have put a fraud alert on my SSN/credit report.  WE'RE GOING TO GET THESE ****ERS, RIGHT!  Tomorrow I'm calling the Federal Trade Commission.  DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE.  AS SUGGESTED BY THE BBB, IF YOU HAVE CALLER ID, JUST DON'T ANSWER.  THERE'S NO WAY THAT YOU CAN STOP THEM FROM CALLING (UNLESS YOU C****E YOUR NUMBER).  SOMEBODY NEEDS TO DO SO****ING ABOUT THESE SCAMMERS!

my mom got phone call today and the people told her she was under investigation and that an officer would be at her house on friday to take her to court. when my sister and my self called the this forgien speaking man put me on hold. i called back and was put on hold a***n and this time they put me on hold got back on the line and pretended he did not hear me respond to him and he ***g up. my sister is calling our local sherriff department and the bbb.

This ****** folks called my mobile and work lines and right off the bat, I asked for his first and last name, name of his "firm", lawyer he worked for, address, & his lawyer's bar roll number in California.  Scared him off only to have a second guy call me, so I logged his information as well.  All of this information and a recoding of the voice mail they left and was forwarded to my email will be submitted to the Federal Trade Commission so other law agencies can have access to this information.

I OT THAT SAME CALL. HE SAID HIS NAME WAS MIKE SO****ING, HE WAS AN ATTORNEY  & THAT EITHER ME OR MY ATTORNEY SHOULD RETURN THE CALL TO (760) 561-3515 BECAUSE IT IS A PRESSING MATTER & THE ******COULDN'T EVEN*****OUNCE MY NAME. HIS ACCENT TOTALLY SUX & HE SOUNDED RECORDED, DISTORTED & SCRIPTED!!! I HAVE NEVER TAKEN OUT ANY PAY DAY LOANS & I WISH THAT MTF WOULD CALL MY CELL!!! I REPORTED IT TO THE BBB & THE FERAL TRADE COMMISSION AS WELL & SOMEBODY NEEDS TO GET THIS UNDER CONTROL....REAL TAL****

This number keeps calling my phone talking about a payday loan i own he has left therating messages about putting me in jail his name was james addison or so****ing like that. they keep calling my job. they have alot of my personaly info name address dob act. i dont knw what to do... they keep calling my office... i need to report them... but to who??? someone please help.

This number called me more than 20 times today. they say i owe them for a payday loan, but u need a bank account to get a payday loan and i have never had a bank account of any kind in my whole life. they said a judge was on the phone listening in. Its nothing but a big scam. Don't give theses people any money.

They called my home and cell.  Same exact message both times, this guy is obviously reading from a script.  I was definetly a little scared at first, but if the FBI was really looking for you do you think they would have some creepy guy obviously calling from a call center, call to threaten you.  I don't think so.  Just **** up.

This is a big fraud. They threaten people with legal action, but are trying to scare you into paying them money. They tried to get $8000.00 out of me for legal fee for a pending court case that I don't have. Just **** up, They called me back 4 times before they finally stopped. FYI

They called me too. Clearly it's not legit since for any pressing matters a lawyers office will call you and disclose a file number and the firms name. By the guys accent I can tell he's been outsourced and was reading from a script.

I just got a call from this number threatening me that the FBI will be out to put up my entire family for investigation. I told him that I had already reported this number to the FBI and he would not budge.

I just got the same message that if I didn't call them back soemthing bad was going to happen and good luck.  I"m freaking out here

Got the same message at work today. I called my local police and reported it. It scary when they have your information.

I got a call from this number, they left a pretty threatening voicemail. Would like to find out who is behind this.

Jack Lawson was his name, he also used Jack Anderson. They tried to get me to pay them 986.60!!!!!!!

I got a call from this number and they left me message and made me pay 200.00 today.
