I get these too, on my cell phone during work hours in California, and this time I talked to a **** on the phone (with a strong southern-US accent, which may or may not have to do with the TN connection). Based on his responses I strongly suspect the operators are aware this is a scam, and are not just random call center people trying to sell insurance. I don't think there's a lot you can do about it, but you can file a complaint with the FCC - I just did, and if they get enough of them it might matter. The online form is here: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm Interestingly enough, I've previously had more polite operators who said they would take me off the list, and I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But this guy was clearly used to having random people mad at him, and actually seemed to enjoy being unhelpful and surly, so now I think it's a straight-up criminal enterprise.

automated ma****e called to tell me about a factory warranty.. this is your second warning. but its told me that the past four times. so i pressed one. and the guy just asked my whats my car's make and model. and so after i asked him to take me off his call list politely he then continues to ask me so i begin to just ask him right back and we basiclly just begin to repeat each other then he says the old riddle how much wood could a wood chuck chuck and so on and he just asked me the same question over and over.. he's calling my cell phone so thats what really makes me displeased at the man.

I just got a call from this number. Missed the call and didn't recognize it so I decided to try my luck and check online, hints why I came across this. No voice message left so I don't know what it was about. Didn't even try to call it back. It's just sad that people would do this sort of thing to other people. Think about it. If someone did it to them they'd be ****ed so why the***** do it to others? Anyone that would try to scam people are just pathetic lowlives who couldn't make it doing legitimate work so they have to steal from other people.

Just got a call and there was no one on the line when I answered. Call log had this number so I googled it and found this page. I've also gotten those "auto warranty may be about to expire" recorded messages - did not notice the number on those - those calls just make me laugh because my car is 10 years old - YEAH the warranty might be expired! My first hit in google was this: Bobbie Davis (731) 588-2771 640 Hannings Ln, Martin, TN 38237 If anybody out the TN way wants to drop by her house and ask her to stop calling us, I'd be much obliged.

"This is the second notice your auto warranty is about to expire...blah blah blah..."let me steal your money and iden***y...blah blah blah We have repeatedly attempted to get this number to stop calling our home, our cellulars, etc. both with speaking to a customer service rep and by pressing the ****on they state will get us on their do not call list, but they keep calling!

Trying to sell auto warranties. I do not have a car. They keep calling both my cell phones no matter how many times I tell them to never call me a***n. It s****s with a recording and then eventually you can tell the person that they are out of line, and they act like they will stop within 24-48 hours... but they don't stop.

This company called my cell phone number to inform me that my warranty almost up on my car. The message is clearly about money. The recording tells me if I pay a certain amount of money, I can extend my warranty options. The problem is, my warranty has been up for years now. I know it's a total scam.

CAlls my home phone and my cell phone and wife's cell phone. Car Warranty is the message left. Has been calling for over 6 months. Will not stop. I feel this is pure harassment. No real messages are left or call back numbers. Some times calls multiple times a day.

Number called me this morning - didn't answer bc I didn't recognize the number. Just Googled the number and it says it belongs to someone in TN. Glad I didn't answer after reading the Wood chuck comment from "Yup" :) Hope they won't call me a***n. Looks like they made a lot of calls today though!

I am receiving these calls several times a week on all 3 of my cell phones for the last 2 months. I have requested countless times to be removed. My numbers are all on the National Do Not Call Registry. I have warned them that I will not file complaints a***nst them.

Constant calls, varying between one to three per month over the past 10 months! (On more than one occasion, 3 calls in one week.) Have requested callers to remove name and phone number from their list. Their response is to **** up after saying have a nice day. Enough already!!!

I have been getting these every few days for the last couple of months. After being out of the country for two weeks I found a dozen missed calls from these people. They are persistent. I will be taking anonymous suggestion and check out the FCC site.
