they call at all hours of the day and night and when you pick up its a pre-corded message instructing the caller to call the bussines office. my complaint is if this is hospital why are they so secretive and not state their company name. in to days time its scary to call or receive calls from companies that do not represent them self properly

I have also gotten numerous calls like the above--like over 10 in the last 2 weeks. They leave a long account # and tell you to call M-F 11-8. So I called on a Sat and got the same nameless "Business Office" voicemail.

I received an automated call from this number, telling me to call back at certain hours. It did not say what the business was or what the call was about but they did give me my account number, so I knew it was Montefiore Medical Center. They sent me a bill last month for so****ing I supposedly owed in 2007! Are you kidding me!? I did not pay it, nor will I pay it until they send me a REAL BILL of what it's really for. I sent them a letter telling them just that but have yet to receive that bill. So I received another bill for this year, so I sent them a letter a***n, telling them to send me a bill for what the charge is for. I am not paying that bill just because they say I owe it; what's the charge for? what exactly?. For all I know it could be a scam or so****ing. I mean it's like they think ur so gullible.."here's a bill and this is how much you owe. just pay it". Thats what I think the message they are sending me is, but I'm not falling for that.

After receiving several calls from this number I called back with the information provided. I was told it was Montefiore medical center calling about a bill for a medical visit.....interesting since I've never been to Montefiore for any medical care!!! Then they couldn't tell me exactly who I owed the money to and the woman finally stated it was for an Xray that I never had! After I told her that information was both wrong and fradulent, I never heard from them a***n. I suspect this is a spam call.

I also received several automated phone calls from the "Business Office". It was, in fact, the business office of Montefiore Medical Center (they do not self-identify when calling because of health information privacy issues. They were calling about blood work I had done in 2008 (!) where they had forgotten to bill my insurance. The representative was professional, and this phone number is not a scam.

They call, say they are the business office, but no other info. Automated account info does not work (after you enter account info, there is just silence for 10 min). No one ever answers the phone, even during stated business hours. This is obviously some kind of medical expense, but if it is mine, I can't pay unless I can get more info

I have received several robocalls on my cell phone from "The Business Office". Each time with an "important message" for JRE Jones - who is not me. I called them back a week ago and told them to stop calling. Got another robocall today - called back and their office isn't even open.
