As of 6-28-14 this number is legit. It was used by Microsoft's Security Division to call me with a numeric "code" to unlock my Hotmail account that was locked due to inactivity. The code was presented by an electronic voice. Because Google is referenced at this number as using it to provide access codes as well, it may be a verification service company contracted to MS and Google (and likely others) to do "best practice" verification and provide codes for them. Unwanted calls may be the result of hackers trying to ***n access to accounts or maybe a thick fingered number entered by the person who legitimately needs access to their own account.

This call is from Microsoft. When a person resets their password from their Xbox it sends you a text, email or call with a four digit number that needs to be typed into the xbox to reset an xbox live account password. Someone out there has typed in your phone number and you are getting that call. It's not spam and you only get a busy tone if you try to call it back.

my 85 year old mother received a call at 2:04 am. she does NOT have a computer or a cell phone that would require a password much less need to reset it. I have no idea how Microsoft would have gotten her number in****ociation with any kind of account. if this is not a scam then someone may be trying to hack into her credit card or bank account. craziness!

I agree with other people here who are saying this number is an automated callback to reset an email account. If it isn't an automated voice calling you with a 7 number code in direct response to you initiating a password c****e, you should **** up.

Both the Federal Trade Commission and Federal Communications Commission can fine telemarketers up to $11,000 per violation. This fine can be****essed for each phone call to a number that is subscribed to the registry !

Received two calls under this phone number showing the caller to be a Jose Dohl. Automated message was a five-digit number indicating it was from Yahoo. Annoying.
