Got 19 calls from this number. Messages left. the one I listened to said "Hey beautiful" on and on. They are not calling from jail to a family member. one call comes in right after another and at all hours.

All...this is a legit Telcom Co which services detention & or correctional facilities. It is based out of Houston. Didn't accept the call but made a call to the local detention center (jail) turns out that person attempting to make a call is in jail.

It is totally 100% legit. It is the inmate calling system dozens of correctional facilities in several different states use. I know that WA, CA, UT, and Idaho all use it. The company is probably based in Texas which is why it comes up as being from there.

Ok, as many have stated here, this is a legitimate prison calling system. The inmates or their families will pay for a card for a certain amount of minutes so that they may contact their families or in this case, a business where they have an account. I have been expecting this call for a couple of weeks, and although I missed this one, I will answer the next time he tries to call. Some have said "I don't have any family in jail" which i think is ****** since I don't know anybody who actually plans ahead of time on being arrested, and informs all of his friends and family. DUH! So I suggest you listen carefully to the recording, and the name of the caller before you **** up on them or you could be hurting someone you care about.

got a call from this 713-489-7846, said it was for douglas correctional facitlity number on my phone came up from texas, i don't have any body i know in jail. said his name was joe trying to get a hold of his sister i have a ne***ska number... i called it back after my husband had blocked the number and durring my call trying to get the website address they had called back, so i blocked the number a***n, i keep my bank app on my phone which i deleted so its not on my phone just incase they were tryng to hack it,, and in me opinion if it wasn't a scam shouldn't they know the number of the people they are trying to call!!!!

this is from a county jail calling system. many different jail systems use this number to call out to loved ones, or friends. If you think you might know someone who got picked up, it costs nothing to say "hello" and w***ver is on the other end will say their name. you have the option of taking the call if you want to. I thought this was a weird marketing call too until I stopped long enough to listen. my daughter got in trouble and thank god i took the call!
