The Houston Symphony got my number after I bought a concert ticket from them. They need to fundraise, ask for donations, and sell tickets. If they called me without reason (e.g. I didn't buy anything from them), then they'd be spamming, but no, I asked for it. It does get a bit annoying when they call while I'm in class though.
