I have received numerous calls, too. I run a marketing business and have learned of services that will do the following, which I believe is this service all have heard from. You can hire them to use a phone number list to auto dial thousands of calls. (We are on this list, thanks to Experiean and the other credit bureaus who sell our name to them.) These are typically automated messages which allow you to "press through" if you are interested in the service being offered. The company selling the service "brokers" it out to the agency paying for it, ie., a home improvement company, mortgage person, etc. The broker hides behind the fake number as he can choose what goes on the caller id. In this case, 706-823-2215. The number goes no where when called back and thereby allows them to fly under the radar of do not call list rules. It is a tricky way to telemarket and the subcontracting companies using the services do not have to get a SAN number, required by the government if they legitimately telemarket. There is your answer to the mystery.

Hector from Four Seasons Sunrooms called ON my cellphone. He mentioned he will be on my block giving a free consultation this week (it's Thursday evening and he is calling from Georgia 2000 miles away) and wanted to see if we were interested in discussing a sunroom addition. I politely told him we weren't making any additions to our home and he immediately ***g up. What a ****! How long does it take to say "thanks anyway" about 1 second. Like he needs to save that much time. Well maybe he does because it sounded like he was working out of a boiler room and maybe he needed to pay for his seat.?

I JUST RECIEVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER. THE CALLER ID SAID VA MEDICAL CENTER. I ANSWERED BECAUSE BOTH MY BROTHER AND MY ***HER USE THE VA MEDICAL CENTERS FOR HEALTH CARE. WHEN I ANSWERED IT WAS A YOUNG LADY SAYING THAT THEY WOULD BE IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD THIS WEEK AND WOULD LIKE TO SET UP A TIME TO COME TO MY HOME FOR A "FREE DESIGN CONSULTATION". WHEN I SAID, "NO THANK YOU," SHE WAS RUDE THEN ***G UP. OBVIOUSLY THIS IS SOME KIND OF SCAM AND I THINK IT IS A DISGRACE THAT THEY ARE USING THIS VA NUMBER TO TRICK PEOPLE.

I received a call about having a free consultation done for a new sun room with a 33% discount if I decide to have a sunroom done. I explained to the lady that the calls are unacceptable and need to stop. Now I just receive calls from them and they **** up once I answer the phone. I'm not sure how I got the number but I do have a resume posted online which is real **** if telemarketers are able to get your number off a resume online. Also pretty sad that telemarketers are calling people looking for work.

Caller is traced to Augusta, Georgia. The caller ID showed "VA Medical Cen" but I seriously doubt that's who was calling. A female stated so****ing indistinguishable. I asked her to repeat what she said. She repeated so****ing indistinguishable and said so****ing about being in my neighborhood and could someone stop by for a no-obligation visit. I have no idea what the phone call was about but was curious about the caller ID information since I'm a veteran.

I've received two calls from this number. Thank you Matt for the information. They are very bored and probably just ****ed off that they have to "work" on weekends. If anyone finds out who these idiots really are please post the information on this site. Has anyone taken the time to call the number back? I'm not wasting my time and going to enjoy my weekend.

I received this call 6 times on 10/13/08. I didn't answer, but if that call was traced to georgia then why are minnesotans getting the calls? How did they get our numbers? Is this a random thing or a thief thing? I'd like to get to the bottom of it because it's bugging me just like it's bugging the rest of you!

I too received numerous calls. I finally picked up and some girl addressed me with my correct last name, stuttered and s****ed laughing. I could hear many people in the background laughing also, what the heck kind of a party is this??? I guess I took the bait by answering, asuming it was the VA calling.

The same bunch called me tonight (10-28)My wife asked them about VA Medical showing up on caller ID. They told her in a VERY HEAVY Indian accent, "they haven't gotten around to c****ing that yet." Has anyone reported this to the F.C.C. yet? I'm ticked off enough to report it now.

Just wondering if anyone else that has received a call from this number has been looking for work and has a resume posted online? This is just a thought since I have been looking for work and my phone number is out there.

I received 7 calls from this number, call and **** up. The calls come to my cell phone. I tried to call back at the same number, it rings and rings with no voice mail or pick up.

Caller claimed that someone from our number had called him earlier in the day and cursed him out for being an Obama supporter. He then began to speak gibberish and scream into the phone. Very strange call.
