Using the information obtained from another comment below, we went to http://www.diresearch.com and clicked the Contact link in the bottom right-hand corner. On the next page, at the bottom is a link for [email protected]. Clicking on that link produces two fields. One to enter your phone number that you wish to have removed, which honestly, they already have if they are calling you, so what can it hurt. Second field is a captcha code which is necessary to prove a human is entering this information and not being performed by a script. Then click Submit. They confirm that they will remove that number from their calling lists. We just did it and will see if they call a***n. They also explained that because they are a research company calling to survey the general public about many different topics AND they are not selling anything whatsoever, the Do Not Call registry guidelines do not apply to them. I've received a call from this number for weeks, always around 7:30PM. I just tried the number and the outgoing message said they are a survey company and a member of the Better Business Bureau (which I think bullsh*t). Definitely spam and illegally calling my number, as I also reported them to the FCC and the Do Not Call registry.

This number is from Directions In Research. Sometimes the caller ID says"Research Center".The company headquarters is in San Diego,CA. The last known address I have for them is 9665 Granite Ridge Dr. STE 550. They are a telemarketing company that clames to be a research company. The president is/was David Phife. They have been calling me on & off for 2 years now and from different phone numbers and locations, asking me to do a survey for child vaccines. If you get a call from them. report them. If the keep calling, you can also make a complaint with law enforcement and the BBB.

The FCC is directly responsible for all the trash being transmitted to unsuspecting , decent people via the public airwaves , land lines, and all avenues that they are duty bound to monitor = which they ignore. I have gone down through the other comments and the experiences are similar and occasionally identical to mine. Most recent: Research Center ; phone 703 291 9031. They call nearly daily (sometimes multiple times per day), and usually they just **** up when I answer. One time someone was actually on the other end, and I told them to remove me from their calling list. But they still call. When I call the number back, their recording says they are a "market research firm based in San Diego." I filed a complaint with the FTC, but I doubt that will do anything.

Call all the time with no one on the line (both home and home office number). One time I actually had a person on the other line, and I asked what I had to do to get them to stop calling. She told me I had to answer their survey... at which point I screamed at her to stop calling me and ***g up. I doubt if that will stop it though.

703-291-9031 showed up on Caller ID as RESEARCH CENTER. They called at 8:00pm CST on a Friday night. When I answered the phone, a young woman quickly asked one question "Are you parenting any children between the ages 18 months to 3 years?". When I answered "No", she said thank you and ***g up. Sounds to me like they were just conducting a survey, and my best guess would be maybe a "Pull-ups survey", based on the first question she asked. I can only imagine how long she would have carried on had I answered "yes". I was about to ask her how they got my number because we are on the "no call list", but she spoke so fast and didn't let me speak before she ***g up. Not sure if the number was s****ed because it did actually show up as a research center.

We have been getting calls from 703-291-9031, ID shows it as RESEARCH CENTER. When we answer the phone there is silence, no one talks. Finally we stopped answering the phone if it had this ID. However now they call at wired hours. Sometimes we won't hear from them for a week or two and then they will call 6 to 18 times a day. Sometimes as late as 10:30 or later. We are getting really sick of all these calls. Will someone who can do so****ing, do so****ing. Find the company and cut there phone line or so****ing. This is not funny to call people all the time at all kinds of hours. People have jobs, people have school, they cannot be up at all hours hearing the phone ringing.

My Caller ID displayed "Research Center" as the iden***y of the caller. They reached my answering ma****e but ***g up without leaving a message. The interesting thing is that about a year ago, I used to receive phone calls like this for a period of about six months. I never answered the phone when they called, and finally they stopped calling. Last week, I voted for a contestant on the TV show "America's Got Talent," and a week later, I received this phone call from "Research Center." I believe that somehow my phone # was sold to this company from the call center that handles the votes from the aforementioned TV show. By the way, my phone # is private and very few people have my #. So I really believe my # was obtained when I called to vote for a contestant on that TV show Ccoincidence?...Maybe.

I receive a call from this number. CID read Triangle VA. I'm sick and of tire these telemarketers. Why don't the give it a rest. I am on the no call list. For the most part it works but every now ant then you get some dumb annoying company that will get through. I don't care if they have so****ing I would be interested in. These people are supposedly telemarketerss, doesn't matter if you have a message stating that telemarketers should **** up immediately, instead they let the call go to voice mail and **** up, which is annoying because you constantly have to listen to all their ****ups in order to clear your voice mail. Don't have time for this, stop calling, if people were interested they would be contacting you, not you harrassing people.
