These people called me and said that they were from The Great American Baby Photo Contest and said that my child was entered into a national contest. They asked all these questions trying to get my info and get me to pay to enter my son into a photo contest. It's a huge marketing scam.

a man by the name of michael carter called my moms friend asking for my information. she proceeded to call me and give me the number to contact michael carter at this phone number listed as 646-845-1902. I then called this number and aksed to what this was in reference to he asked me my name and said hold on and then some bogus hold music came on for like 3seconds and a man supposedly named Officer Jon Anderson said cashnet has filed a law suit a***nst me saying I owe them for 3 pay day loans sent to a wachovia account in 2006 he knew my name, social, and address ...I ASKED FOR A BADGE NUMBER HE THEN SAID I DONT HAVE A BADGE NUMBER BUT A BAR NUMBER ***..first red flag WAS why would a credit company contact the officer instead of a debt collection agency....then when I stated i never HAD a wachovia account he then gave me an account number and routing number trying to convince me that i had this action done. then he said he has to read an affidavit and my only options are to report to court have a lawyer represent me, rep myself, or handle it outside of court by faxing a company called ACS(associate courthouse services) my name and banking information to another 646 number! i told HIM i wanted to go to court and rep myself he then GOT aggrevated and said that THIS is not the best thing to do and its better to send them the payment. i then asked ok you just said you were state dept of law enforcement not acs why would i send you the payment and he then got even more upset said i have other calls waiting you can speak to my superior supervisor jon anderson and then I said arent you jon anderson HE ***G UP!!!
