I constantly get phone calls from that number as well... He will call using the name Sean or John Smith... He will say he is from the legal department of investigation, and that it is very important that I get in contact with him... If I don't I will be arrested and my Social Security number will be used a***nst me so that they will garnish my wages or take legal action a***nst me... I first believed him and I was getting freaked out... He always s****s out by saying that I have a payday loan with such and such company and I will say with what company? And he will say have you every had a payday loan, and when I say no, he says well is this your SS #? etc... After I screamed at him one day, and told him that my brother in law is a cop, and a good friend is an attorney he quit calling me... Here the past few days he s****ed calling me a***n... He got one of my friends number and I have no clue as to how he got it, and now he got my work number where I am working now... This guy is really ****ing me off!

guess this is the number and name of 2011 -- KEVIN COOPER -- office of bureau criminal investigations just called me 2x within 24 hours.  When I finally called back I got the same old info & threats - the company they claim to be working for is US Cash Advance which I've never had a loan with in my life and the amount is $300 which a***n, never had that amount of loan.  When I questionned that information, and told him I would just turn all this information over to the FBI and local authorities like I have others in the past he got extremely made and s****ed with "are you threatning me"  and I told him "no more than you are threatening me, my life and my family with these federal charges".  But knowing this is bogus and I am not in jeopardy for this loan/legal action, I am, like the rest of you worried about the fact these scammers have my SSN, my address, phone, & number of some of my family members -- how is that??

I got a call months ago from this person..Nasty and very threatening.  I do owe creditors, but not someone who speaks little english..Yes****ay I recieved this call a***n, this time in my place of employment..They harrassed me and a***n told me that I will lose my home and anything that I have.  I told them to send me proof that I owe them money.  They tell me that I need to send them $50 for this.  Unreal.  The next time they callled I told them that I work for the state and I will have my lawyer contact them.When I got home from work there was yet another message on my house phone..That is when my son told me that he found this site online.  I called them back and told them I found them online and they said "google"???? He ***g up and I hope that is the end.

I received the same call/message.  I actually returned their call and told them that I had received a message from them and that I would prefer that they contact my attorney regarding any concern they have with me.  My sister in law happens to be an attorney and she told me to give them her name and number and she would take care of it.  Well, after I told them I was being represented by an attorney I asked for their company name and address.  They told me:American Legal1439 Kincaid StNew York, NY 11420I then gave them her number and then they ***g up.  They never even asked for her name!  I tried to verify the address but wasn't able to.  I really do believe it's a scam but will call them back a***n tomorrow and see what happens when I tell them that their address wasn't verifiable.

This number has called me at least a dozen times now claiming to be US department of investigations telling me I owe a Payday loan from a cash place on line that I have never used before. The claim I will be arrested and put behind bars if I don't settle it. The people callin can barely speak english and claim to be Federal officers investigating. Also if they new in Michigan even if you do have a payday loan you can't be criminaly charged for not paying one. You can only be taken to small claims court and wages garnished ect. They can not arrest you for it. This is a compleat frad!

Same thing here.. The guy couldn't speak english very well at all. I ***g up on him the first time he called and asked who I was figuring he was a telemarketer or so****ing. He called right back and I sent him to voicemail. Left me a 2 min long voicemail telling me he will sue me and call all my references. Not knowing what he was talking about because I as well don't owe anyone any money, I found this. I left him a voicemail not to call me back my dad is looking into for me he is a detective. Hope he finds out so****ing to make this guy stop.

I got a called from this guy, he has a very heavy indian ascent and he says his name is john smith. he called me and said my mother owes for a cash payday loan.  I asked for the number he was calling from and he refused to give it to me and I told him that I had already reported him because he called my mom once or twice before and called from a different area code.  he poses as an attorney and detective.  It was hard to understand him as he was talking but now they are harassing me.

They left a voice mail on my cell phone and also left a voice mail at the head office of my employer, stating that I needed to call back or they will have legal action a***nst me and my social security number.  1.   They cannot leave a message like that on any phone without knowing for sure that the person who it is for is the only one that listens to it.2.   The call is international call - New Zealand3.   Heavy accent and hard to understand.

I continue to get calls from this number as well. They have called a total of 5 times in the last two days. I keep telling them I do not have any money due to the so called company they represent. I ask for proof that I owe anyone money and they refuse to give it to me. They continually yell at me and do not listen to me until I have to **** up.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make these people stop?
