***5947500 is a teleconference number rented by many legitimate organizations and companies. My company uses it for conference calls a couple times a week. The original call is the problem not the conference call center.

On another site the suggestion was to make the number a contact and then set it with a 'no ring' That does not mean your phone won't vi***te, or that you won't get messages including voice mail, just you won't jump to answer the phone because you won't hear it ring.

This number is supposedly the number to contact Bishop E. Bernard Jordan,a prophet. It is supposedly a conference call with other prophets and you are supposed to get a prophetic word from the Lord. Not absolutely positive, but I believe the prefix is a Ca***ian number and there is a charge.

He s****s off with "Praise the Lord" and then identifies himself as a prophet. I feel that this is a scam artist trying to get people to call back and then hack into your telephone number and then using for their benefit.I just want the constant calling to stop, it's very irritating. If this is really a so called non-profit organization, they should get the message after ***dreds of ****ups.

They call at least weekly. I don't know how to stop them. My best suggestion is to call them and harrass them. Even though it sounds like a recording, it is a conference call, and there are other people listening. Two days ago I made enough noise for long enough that they actually stopped to ask me what I was doing. I think if every time they call we each take two or three minutes to return it and ruin everyone's time for a bit, perhaps it'll help. Otherwise, I have no suggestions. But know that they can hear you, and they don't like it. (Note: I do this****uming there is no rediculous charge because its not 1-900, but I haven't gotten my bill yet, so note that I'm not certain there isn't a charge).
